Announcement 📣 - Man talk will wind down operations in January.

I am heartbroken to tell you all that Man talk will be reducing its services to a website only from January. This is due to the personal strain of running the group and lack of financial and physical support.

As sad as the above is, we have achieved so much over the past three years and would like to think we have saved at least one life!

We have been commended in the Houses of Parliament during Covid by the then health minister.

We have placed over 50 signs across the town in vulnerable locations as a last line of defence against su***de.

We were a finalist in the charity of the year in the Inspiration awards.

We have helped over 60 children in our Christmas appeal to wake up to a Christmas they wouldn’t have otherwise had.

We have provided funding through the Liam Walsh Foundation pot to create a sensory room for children with additional needs in a local school.

We have achieved so much but we would be nothing without the 1300 men in our group and how they have supported each other. They are hero’s to themselves and to each other.

Before bringing the curtain down on man talk we have put measures in place for the support to continue and with the help of Andys Man Club

We really need your URGENT HELP🚨 We have families who need our support this year in our Christmas appeal and with the exception of a few wonderful people we haven’t had enough to support them all as much as we would like. I know that Christmas is an expensive time of year for everyone but if you can spare a few quid to help us out it could change the lives of these children 🎁
