Congratulations to our fantastic OWCH Pain Management Group on celebrating 20 years of supporting one another! πŸŽ‰

For two decades, this group has provided a welcoming space where people can connect, share experiences, and offer encouragement to those living with chronic pain. Groups like OWCH play such an important role in our community and reflect what we strive to achieve as a charity every day.

A huge congratulations to Debbie and everyone involved with the group on reaching this incredible milestone. Here's to many more years of friendship, support, and making a difference. πŸ’™

🚀 We're looking for Volunteer Boat Crew! βš“

Would you like to be part of the team helping our new boat, the Wizard II - John B, set sail on the Bridgewater Canal?

We're currently recruiting volunteer crew members to join us on this exciting new venture. No previous boating experience is required, as full training will be provided to all volunteers. Whether you can spare a few hours occasionally or would like to get involved more regularly, volunteering is flexible and can fit around your availability.

It's a fantastic opportunity to learn new skills, meet new people, and support the work of WDP & DTC while enjoying time on the water.

If you'd like to find out more or register your interest, please contact Rebecca on 01925 240064 or email [email protected]

πŸŽ…βœ¨ Meet Sapphy, Mitch & Paul! βœ¨πŸ§β€β™€οΈπŸŽ„

For this Volunteer Spotlight, we're celebrating three of our fantastic grotto volunteers – Sapphy, Mitch and Paul!

They first joined us at Christmas, helping to bring festive magic to life as Santa and his elves, and they’ve been a valued part of the team ever since. Their enthusiasm, energy and willingness to get involved have made a real difference, and it’s been wonderful to have them supporting us.

From spreading smiles at events to lending a hand wherever needed, Sapphy, Mitch and Paul embody the spirit of volunteering, and we're so grateful for everything they do.

A huge thank you to all three of you for your time, dedication and support. We’re lucky to have you as part of the WDP & DTC team! πŸ’™

Interested in volunteering with us? We'd love to hear from you! Contact Rebecca on 01925 240064 or email [email protected] to find out more about the opportunities available.
