We hear this one most weeks, and honestly, we understand it. You are paying a fair amount for something that goes in with a needle and leaves you looking exactly the same when you walk out. Of course it feels like expensive moisturiser.
The difference is depth, and it is a bigger difference than it sounds.
A good cream works on the surface. That is exactly what it is designed to do, and a decent one does it beautifully. What it cannot do is reach the layer underneath where your skin's actual structure lives, because nothing applied on top can. That is not a flaw in your skincare. It is just physics.
Boosters work below that surface. They give your own repair process something to work with, and the change shows up in the quality of your skin rather than in the shape of your face. Better light. Better texture. Skin that behaves itself again.
