☀️ YELLOW HEAT HEALTH ALERT: Stay Safe in the Heat! ☀️

A Yellow Heat Health Alert is in effect across the East Midlands from 12pm on Thursday 18 June 2026 until 8pm on Tuesday 23 June 2026.
High temperatures can put everyone at risk, especially older people, young children, and those with health conditions.

Take action to protect yourself and others:
✅ Drink plenty of water
✅ Stay in the shade during peak hours
✅ Check in on vulnerable neighbours and family

If you're aged 40 to 74 and do not have a pre-existing health condition, you are eligible to an NHS Health Check every 5 years.
