Rediscover Wellness. Redefine Beauty. We are passionate about feeling good and how this can affect health and wellbeing.

Helping you improve your health, wellbeing and quality of life through floatation therapy, acupuncture, massage, holistic health, recovery and relaxation experiences. CREATE YOUR BEAUTY

We would like to introduce you to Create Your Beauty…….…a beauty salon with a difference. We see our salon as a place where beauty, health and wellbeing can be created and combined. We strongly believe in the bene

fits of alternative therapies and a holistic approach to wellbeing, including beauty, relaxation and positive energy. This belief and passion has helped shape our salon. We celebrate difference, individuality and creativity and want our clients to be able to create their own beauty or wellbeing experience with us. Beauty is a concept that is unique to each individual. We have no set ideas about what beauty is or “should be” and believe everyone is beautiful in their own unique way. We want to help you find your beauty. How we perceive ourselves is tantamount to our inner wellbeing. We want to offer our clients the opportunity to create their beauty, to relax and recuperate, to look after their inner and outer selves. Once that feeling of beauty and wellbeing has been created, we can also offer you the opportunity to capture that feeling, by photographing you in a creative way (boudoir, body paint, fashion, portrait etc.). We are passionate about what we do. We know what we enjoy and benefit from and want to share that experience with our clients. Create it………….Feel it…………..Capture it! Ethics:
We are very conscious of the damage that toxins can cause, not just to the environment but to us individually. For this reason we have selected to use the most organic products currently available. We have researched and sourced beauty products which are against animal testing and contain organic natural ingredients where possible. We have opted to use treatments that are non-surgical and non-intrusive but use the latest research and technology………this is not only harmless to you, but the environment also. Our floatation room is naturally antibacterial, due to the Epsom salts, and is cleaned by UV filtration which is a chemical free system. Our tanning products are the world’s first completely non-toxic, odour free products on the market. Our aim is to be as organic and environmentally friendly as is possible in order to promote our client’s and our staff’s health and wellbeing. Even our shower gel, tea and coffee are organic and promote health benefits!

TFiF 🌿

The emails will still be there on Monday. The washing isn't going anywhere. And that little
red notification on your phone will somehow survive without your immediate attention.
Give yourself something this weekend that doesn't have to achieve anything.
A walk. A book. Coffee with someone you haven't seen for ages. A massage. A lie-in. An
hour in the garden doing precisely bu**er all.
Whatever it is, enjoy it without feeling you should be doing something else.

What are you doing for yourself this weekend?

Wellness Wednesday

Does wellbeing need to be complicated?

I don't think it does.

Sometimes we're sold the idea that being healthier requires completely changing our lives.
New diets, new routines, new supplements, new exercise plans and seventeen different things
to remember before breakfast. Yet some of the most valuable things are remarkably ordinary: walking regularly, sleeping
properly, eating well, spending time outside, having conversations, resting and occasionally
allowing somebody else to look after us. The magic isn't necessarily in doing more.
Often it's in doing a few good things consistently.
What's one simple thing you do regularly that genuinely makes you feel better?

When do you usually start looking after yourself?

Is it when you're already exhausted? When your back starts aching? When you're not sleeping
properly? Or when you finally reach the point where you think, "I really need to do something about this?"
It's strange that we're often very good at maintaining everything else in our lives, yet we tend
to wait for our own warning lights to come on before paying attention.
Perhaps looking after ourselves works better when it becomes part of life, rather than
something we turn to when life becomes too much.
I'm curious, are you good at making regular time for yourself, or are you more of an "I'll deal
with it when I need to"

This Sunday I'm writing about something I've been thinking about all week.
September has a habit of arriving with a rush.

Work.
School.
Routine.
Life speeding up again.

But what if, before all that begins, we made one conscious decision to carry something good
from summer into the months ahead?
I'd love you to read Sunday's Letter with a coffee in hand.

We often overcomplicate wellbeing.

The older I get, the less I believe wellbeing comes from dramatic changes.
It usually comes from small moments we repeat often enough.

A walk after dinner.
Switching your phone off for an hour.
A massage once a month.
Sitting in the garden with a cup of tea.
They're tiny things.
Until they're not.

What's one small habit that's made you feel better this summer?

Before September arrives...

There's something about this time of year that always makes me pause for a moment.
Summer isn't over, yet somehow you can already feel it beginning to change. The evenings
arrive a little earlier, the trees quietly begin preparing for autumn, and before long children
will be back at school, alarms will be set a little earlier and diaries will start filling up again.
It made me wonder...
Rather than thinking about everything September will bring, perhaps this is a good moment
to ask a different question.
What has this summer reminded you that you don't want to lose?
Maybe it's evening walks. Eating outside. Reading more. Spending time with family.
Watching sunsets. Simply slowing down a little.
I'd genuinely love to know.

My definition of luxury has changed over the years.
It used to be about places and possessions.
Now it looks more like...
A quiet morning.
A walk without my phone.
A conversation with someone I care about.
An afternoon where I don't have to rush anywhere.
Perhaps real luxury isn't having more.
Perhaps it's finally having enough space to breathe.
What does luxury mean to you?

One of the biggest misconceptions I come across is that rest has to be earned.
We tell ourselves we’ll slow down after the next deadline, once the children are back at
school, after the holiday, after work gets quieter...
The trouble is, life rarely becomes less busy by itself. Perhaps recovery shouldn’t be the reward.
Perhaps it’s what allows us to keep showing up as the best version of ourselves.
