**Important Announcement: Closure of The Bobath Centre**

Dear Supporters, Funders, and Service Users,

It is with deep regret that we announce the closure of the Bobath Centre. After careful consideration of our financial situation, we have reached the difficult decision to cease operations.

Despite our best efforts, ongoing financial challenges have made it impossible for us to sustain our services. The Board of Trustees has made the decision to close The National Bobath Cerebral Palsy Centre due to the lack of support from NHS England and other statutory agencies. This decision was not taken lightly, and we understand the impact it will have on our community.

Closure Details:

• Closure Date: The National Bobath Cerebral Palsy Centre will cease operations on 31st May 2024.

• Transition Support: We are committed to supporting our service users during this transition period, helping them access alternative sources of support where possible.

To those who use our services:
We want to thank you for allowing us to be a part of your journey. Your resilience and trust have been truly inspiring, and it has been an honour to support you.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. [email protected]

We understand that this news will be upsetting, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. We are immensely grateful for the opportunity to have served our community and for the support we have received along the way.

To our Supporters and Funders:
We want to express our deepest gratitude for your support over the years. Your generosity has enabled us to make a real difference in the lives of many individuals and families.

Thank you for your understanding.

Bob Walder
Chair of Trustees

Our friends and supporters at Irwin Mitchell are hosting their free Irwin Mitchell Night School events for parents and carers this summer. Understand the law, your rights, your children's rights and much more.

Are you a parent, carer or professional who cares for children with disabilities?

If so, the Irwin Mitchell Night School is a free series which aims to help you understand more about the law, your rights, your children’s rights, and if you are a professional, what you can do in your role to support those around you with their legal issues.

It is unashamedly a lesson in law delivered by some of the top lawyers in the country with the aim of equipping all of its students with the correct tools to know what help is available to them and how to access it.

This is an interactive session and provides an opportunity to ask questions and to speak for free with lawyers who are experts on the topic.

Topics include education (including education, health and care plans), welfare benefits, personal injury claims, medical negligence claims, family law, wills, trusts and powers of attorney.
