JanJan Drumming 🎶 Hi, I’m Janice – and I drum for wellbeing. 🥁

Just weeks before my 60th birthday, I was diagnosed with ADHD. It’s helped me cope, connect, and thrive.

It explained a lot—but more importantly, it helped me understand why drumming has been so powerful in my life. For over 20 years, I’ve been drumming, learning from some of the worlds greatest drumming teachers near and far. Now, through JanJan Drumming, I get to share that gift with others. I run workshops for:

🏫 Schools (nursery to college)
🧠 Neurodiverse indivi

duals & dementia groups
💃 Ecstatic dance events (I drum live with DJs!)
🎉 Children’s birthday parties
💼 Corporate team-building
❤️ And soon, women’s refuges & prisons—spaces that need rhythm the most. Whether it’s through a story for toddlers or a powerful community circle, I believe everyone has a beat—and every beat matters. If you’d like to bring drumming into your space, or just follow the rhythm of what I do, you’re warmly invited to follow along. 💛

🥁 I’m thinking about running a 10-week drumming course…

I’d love to gauge interest before I go ahead and organise it.

The idea would be a 10-week beginner-friendly drumming course open to everyone, with lots of fun, rhythm, connection and wellbeing woven in. No previous drumming experience needed!

There may also be an optional, informal showcase at the end for friends and family. It would be a relaxed chance to celebrate what we’ve learned together — no solo performances or pressure to take part if you’d rather not.
