Please note we will be closed on Good Friday 3rd April 2026 and Easter Monday 6th April

We are open as usual from Tuesday 7th April 8.30am.

If you need anything over the Easter weekend, we recommend collecting your prescriptions in advance.

🎄 Christmas & Prescription Ordering: Important Notice

As the festive season approaches, we kindly remind our patients that:

📅 Our last working day before Christmas will be Wednesday 24th December closed at 6.30pm

We will be closed Thursday 25th; Friday 26th December and Thursday 1st January 2026.
Open as usual on other days.

We do have stock of flu and covid jabs for nhs and private patients. Visit our website www.redhillpharmacy.co.uk to book in.

To help ensure everyone receives their medication in time, we’d really appreciate your support with the following:

💊 Order Repeat Prescriptions Early – Please Don’t Leave It to the Last Minute

GP surgeries will be extremely busy during the festive period.
Please allow an extra 1–2 working days for prescriptions to be issued, and don’t delay placing your request.

⏳ Give Us Time to Prepare Your Medication

Due to significantly higher demand, we will need up to 2 working days to safely prepare prescriptions once they are received from your GP.

📩 Wait for Notification Before Coming In

We kindly ask that you do not phone the pharmacy to check on the status of your prescription, and please do not come in to collect until you receive a text or email confirming it is ready.
This helps us work efficiently and prioritise patient safety.

🕐 Collect Promptly Once Notified

Once you receive a notification, please collect your medication as soon as possible.
Space is very limited at this time of year, and prompt collection helps us manage safely.

W💉 This autumn, COVID-19 vaccine eligibility has changed.
On the advice of the JCVI, the focus is now on protecting those most at risk of serious illness.
This means you may not be eligible for a COVID-19 jab this year, even if you were last year.

This season, COVID-19 vaccinations are offered to:
✔ Adults aged 75 years and over
✔ Care home residents
✔ People who are immunosuppressed (e.g., undergoing chemotherapy, transplant recipients, or those with weakened immune systems)

If you’re not part of these groups, your GP or pharmacist won’t be able to provide the vaccine, but your understanding and kindness mean the world to our team 💚
