🏥 Exciting Improvements at Our Practice!

We are pleased to let our patients know that work is underway to create 4 new clinical rooms at the practice!

These additional rooms will help us to:

Increase our capacity to offer appointments.

Provide more space for our clinical teams to see patients.

Support improved access to healthcare services.

Create a more comfortable environment for our patients.

Please bear with us!

Whilst the building work is taking place, there may be some noise and minor disruption around the practice. The work is expected to continue until mid-December.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience and understanding.

We are really looking forward to the improvements and the benefits they will bring to our patients and the local community.

📢 Missed your COVID vaccine?

Our practice COVID vaccination clinics have now finished, but eligible patients may still be able to receive their vaccine at participating local pharmacies and NHS vaccination sites.

If you'd still like to be vaccinated, please check the NHS website or NHS App for available appointments. 📱

As we head into winter ❄️, vaccination continues to be an important way of helping to protect yourself, your loved ones and our community from serious illness.

You’ll explore:

These sessions offer practical tips in a supportive group environment.

With the dark nights approaching followed by fireworks night and the Remembrance Day, this can be a very difficult time of year for people within the Armed Forces Community. NHS Somerset has partnered with ARK@Egwood to provide support to people who are in the Armed Forces, a reservist, a veteran, or a family member. The support offers four Armed Forces Link Workers and they are here to support anyone needing additional information, advice or referral to specialist services.

🚨 **LAST CHANCE TO BOOK – FLU & COVID CLINIC** 🚨

Our next Flu & COVID vaccination clinic is on Saturday 17 October, and tomorrow (Friday 9 October) is the final day to book.

If you are eligible and would like to be vaccinated at this clinic, please call the practice and select option 1.

Unlike previous years, we have to order our COVID vaccines based on demand. This means that after tomorrow, we need to finalise our numbers to make sure we have enough of the correct vaccine for everyone attending.

**If you are eligible and haven't booked yet, please don't leave it until the last minute. Call us tomorrow at the latest to secure your appointment.**

💙 CHILDREN'S FLU VACCINATION CLINICS

The School Aged Immunisation Service (SAIS) will be offering flu vaccinations to eligible school-aged children through a series of community clinics. These clinics provide an opportunity for children who may have missed their school session, are home educated, or require vaccination outside of school.

💉 The clinics below are for the flu nasal spray and no appointment is needed.

📞 If your child requires the flu injection instead, please call 0300 323 0032 to arrange an appointment.
