3 months ago I decided to join slimming world! Quite pleased with myself but still a long way to go. Thanks to Chrissy and all members who attend Slimming World Welshpool & Newtown - Welshpool at 4pm on a Tuesday for all your support & encouragement. Here’s to the next 3 months - one day at a time!

Leaving your slimming world group is never a choice you make for fun. Life gets in the way 99% of the time and you put yourself at the bottom of the pile and that hour a week to focus on yourself is the first sacrifice to be made.

And when you make that wonderful decision that you want to return to group, a few things can run through your mind and I’d like to explain how as your consultant and the group see it when you return .

You - “I’ve put so much weight on they will think I’m a failure”
Your group /Me - “YAY they are back oh I can’t wait to catch up with them”

You - “I can’ believe I’m joining AGAIN, I’m so embarrassed”
Your group/ Me - “Yay they are back, it’s so lovely to see them I’m so so thrilled they chose my support to help get them going again what a compliment!”

You -“I’m going to lose a bit before I go back”
Your group / Me - “Your group is here to support you 100% you’ll never have to go it alone or take any action before returning”

You will always be warmly welcomed and so very very wanted in group, no judgement in sight because we are all human.

Lastly a few things are waiting for you upon your return
