Our wonderful residents, family and friends at Autumn Vale Care Centre recently enjoyed a wonderful time together at Jimmy’s Bar, our weekly in house bar service. 🍻✨

This special setup provides a relaxed pub style environment within the home where everyone can enjoy a choice of alcoholic or non alcoholic drinks while socialising and unwinding in good company.

It is a controlled and supported event designed to promote wellbeing, reduce feelings of isolation and help maintain a strong sense of normal community life.

There was a fantastic atmosphere throughout the session with plenty of laughter, conversation and togetherness as residents spent quality time with loved ones and friends.

Our amazing residents at Autumn Vale Care Centre have been making the most of the lovely weather lately, spending time outdoors together and enjoying the fresh air ☀️💜

There’s something so special about seeing everyone relaxing in the garden, chatting with one another and simply enjoying the natural surroundings. These little moments outdoors often spark lovely conversations, new friendships and plenty of smiles along the way 😊

Being out and about together is such an important part of life in our home, helping residents stay connected, active and engaged while enjoying a real sense of wellbeing and companionship 💜

Our wonderful residents at Autumn Vale Care Centre had a lovely time taking part in some fun fruit and snack identifying games 🍎💜

There were lots of smiles and great conversations as everyone guessed different fruits and treats together, with residents enjoying the chance to test their memory and share their favourites along the way 😊

Activities like these are such a nice way to keep minds active while also bringing residents together for a relaxed and enjoyable afternoon 💜

May was full of lovely moments across our homes, from getting outdoors in the sunshine to spending time together over tea and cake 💜

We celebrated World Baking Day with homemade treats, got moving for National Walking Month and loved taking part in Time for a Cuppa with Dementia UK , where simple chats over a brew turned into special moments ☕

We also marked Dementia Action Week, helping spark conversations and raise awareness, celebrated cultures and stories from around the world, and took time on International Nurses Day to thank the incredible nurses who care for our residents every day 🌍

And with the warmer weather finally arriving, National BBQ Week gave us the perfect excuse to enjoy good food and great company outdoors ☀️

A shared smile, a familiar story, time for a chat over a cup of tea. Our wonderful residents enjoy spending time together, getting to know one another and making those little everyday connections that can brighten someone’s whole day 😊

We had a lovely busy Saturday this weekend at Autumn Vale Care Centre 💜

Our wonderful residents spent time making thoughtful thank you cards, getting creative together and chatting as they added their own personal touches. Alongside the crafting, there were also plenty of laughs during our small table games, with everyone enjoying a bit of friendly fun together 😊

There were plenty of smiles around Autumn Vale Care Centre as our wonderfulresidents enjoyed a lovely music therapy session together 🎶💜

The music brought such a cheerful atmosphere to the home, with residents joining in, relaxing and enjoying the moment together. We were especially proud of Elaine, who achieved a wonderful personal milestone during the session, making her way out to sit with everyone and enjoy being part of the group 😊

Moments like these mean so much and remind us that every achievement, no matter how big or small, deserves to be celebrated 💜

Spending time together like this is a lovely way to connect, share stories, and enjoy each other’s company 😊 We always take the time to understand our residents, where they are coming from, their experiences, and what matters most to them.
