Back to school. Back to you. 🤍
At the school gates this morning, I saw so many familiar faces—women who once came to my classes with babies in their arms, now watching those same children walk into school for the very first time.
It is such a strange, heart-wrenching milestone.
We spend years helping our children become independent. We encourage them to take those little steps away from us—and then suddenly, there they are, walking through the school gates into a whole new chapter.
It is a huge transition for them, but it is a transition for us too.
There can be pride, excitement and relief, alongside sadness, worry and the feeling that time has somehow moved far too quickly. Perhaps there is also a little space opening up—and the question of what we might place within it.
For me, September often feels more like a new year than January. It brings a natural opportunity to reset our routines and think about what we would like to return to—not necessarily by doing more, but by making space for something that supports us.
If yoga hasn’t been part of your regular routine recently, this could be a lovely moment to come back to it.
There are several ways to practise with me this September:
✨ Monday Evening Women’s Yoga at Halton Village Hall
✨ Wednesday Lunchtime Women’s Yoga at Wendover Memorial Hall
✨ Saturday morning Yoga in the Woods throughout September
✨ And online women’s classes coming very soon, offering another way to make yoga fit around your life
Different days, different settings and, soon, the option to practise from home—but all offering a little time to move, breathe and reconnect with yourself.
Back to school. Back into routine. And, perhaps, gently back to you. 🤍
