Restart a Heart Free CPR Awareness Sessions
This October, we’re running a series of free sessions as part of the Restart a Heart campaign, giving members of our community the chance to learn simple skills that could help save someone’s life.

You don’t need any previous experience; just come along, and we’ll show you what to do in an emergency.

Tuesday 13th 4:00pm–6:00pm
Adult CPR, AED use and cardiac arrest

Thursday 15th 4:00pm–6:30pm
Infant and child CPR, AED

Saturday 17th 8:00am–12:00pm
Adult, infant and child CPR, AED use and cardiac arrest

All sessions are completely free, and you can drop in at any point during the times above, so come along whenever suits you.
The sessions will be delivered by our RLSS trainer assessors and will be informal and open to anyone who wants to learn.

You never know when you might need these skills.

Interested in becoming a qualified lifeguard?

We’re running a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) course at West Bromwich Leisure Centre.

Course dates: Monday 26th – Friday 30th October
Time: 08:00–17:00 each day
Assessment: Sunday 1st November, starting at 10:00
Price: £275 per person

Whether you’re looking to start a career in leisure, gain a valuable qualification or develop your skills, this is a great opportunity to get started.

It's official - Reformer Pilates has launched at Places Leisure. 🎉

We're excited to have introduced Reformer Pilates classes at Wokingham Leisure Centre, giving our Community access to a new workout class that's as beneficial for the mind as it is for the body. From complete beginners to experienced participants, our three different types of classes make it easy to find the right fit. 💪
