πŸ’œπŸ“’ SDCA HAF Summer Holiday Scheme β˜€οΈπŸ’œ

SDCA is delighted to offer five exciting activities during the Summer Holidays (July–August 2026) for children and young people who are Deaf, Deafblind, Hard of Hearing, and CODA (Children of Deaf Adults). Please see the poster for full details.

The programme provides FREE holiday activities and hot meals for eligible children and young people who:

βœ… Receive benefits-related Free School Meals (FSM)
βœ… Have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP)
βœ… Have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

Places are primarily available for Sandwell residents and pupils attending Sandwell-funded schools and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

We may also be able to offer places to some children and young people from outside Sandwell, including the wider Black Country area, subject to availability and eligibility.

⚠️ Please note: Places are limited to a maximum of 10 participants per activity.

To access the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme, families will usually receive an e-voucher and unique booking code automatically from their child's school via email or text message (typically through HolidayActivities.com) a few weeks before the school holidays. In most cases, there is no need to apply directly to the council.

πŸ’œ Please help us spread the word by sharing this post and poster with family, friends, schools, and community groups.

πŸŽ₯ A BSL video clip will be available shortly.
