Our team have been working with Montpelier Health Centre to promote awareness about Avon Breast Screening and overall breast health as well as getting curious about why people do not want to attend their regular screening mammograms.

We really appreciate the support of everyone who attended and engaged with us, as well as Montpelier Health Centre for their efforts in organizing, hosting, and patient outreach for the events. We look forward to collaborating on many more initiatives like this in the future!

Huge thanks to everyone who joined forces at the 'Community against Cancer' Event last week at the Vassall Community Hub & to our Matron Siny for representing and shining a light on the Avon Breast Screening team's work! 🌟

With events like these we hope to learn from and inspire other organisations on how to deliver cancer awareness and early diagnosis projects.

Thank you to everyone that came, what a great turn out!

At Avon Breast Screening we have been talking all things breast screening and breast awareness at Nailsea School with Dr Vasileios Stamelos MRCGP PhD (GP Partner-Tyntesfield Medical Group-Backwell Medical Centre).

What a great evening with more than 150 women in attendance, all engaged & dedicated to understanding more about the importance of breast screening and breast awareness.

Not only for themselves but many of the questions asked were in relation to passing on the information learnt to their loved ones.
