Sometimes, people can be struggling more than we realise. They may not know how to say what they are feeling, or may worry about how others will respond.

So ask. Check in. Listen.

You do not need to have the right words or know how to fix things. Sometimes simply letting someone know that you are there, listening without judgement and helping them find support can make a difference.

And if you are struggling yourself, please don't feel that you have to carry it alone. Talking to someone you trust can be a first step.

We think this is a fantastic initiative to bring the local community together and open up conversations around dementia.

A great opportunity to learn more, share experiences and gain a better understanding of dementia. Well worth going along if you’re local.

Next week we're opening our doors for an informal evening to learn a little more about dementia, share experiences and talk about how we can support people living with dementia in our local community.

Whether you have personal experience of dementia, support someone living with it, or simply want to understand more, you’re very welcome to join us.

Our Head of Operations, John, will be hosting the evening, bringing more than 26 years of experience in health and social care, including specialist experience in dementia care.

There’ll be plenty of opportunity to ask questions, share experiences and have a chat over a cup of tea and some cake.

We’d love to see you there.

National Grief Awareness Day is a reminder that grief can affect everyone, and that there is no single way to experience it.

Grief can change how we feel, behave and interact with the world around us. Sometimes it is obvious, and sometimes it is much harder to see.

For those working in health and social care, grief can sometimes be part of the work too. We build relationships with the people we support, and experiencing illness, deterioration or loss can have an impact.

Being professional does not mean being unaffected.

We cannot always know what someone is carrying, which is why patience, understanding and kindness matter.

There is always room for kindness when someone is finding things difficult.

It can feel hard to talk about grief, but National Grief Awareness Day is changing the conversation. Learn more about the day and 9 tips to support yourself or others.

Today is Makaton International Awareness Day, and the team in the office have been learning a few signs.

Today reminds us that communication is about much more than spoken words.

For some people, signs and symbols can provide another way to express their needs, choices and feelings, and to understand the people around them.

Understanding different ways of communicating can make a real difference. It can help to reduce frustration, build trust and support greater choice and independence.

Many of the professionals we work with are skilled in Makaton, and we regularly hear positive feedback about the difference these skills can make in supporting communication and helping people feel understood.

Good communication starts with meeting people where they are.

As Good Care Month comes to a close, we'd like to recognise the dedication, professionalism, and compassion shown by health and social care professionals every single day across the sector.

Providing safe, high quality care takes more than clinical expertise. It takes teamwork, resilience, and a shared commitment to making a positive difference, often in some of the most demanding environments.

At Clinical Temps, we're proud to work in partnership with healthcare professionals and care providers who share a commitment to excellence, helping services deliver safe, consistent care when it's needed most.

As Good Care Month draws to a close, we'd like to say a sincere thank you to every healthcare professional for your continued commitment, professionalism, and the difference you make each and every day. Your dedication helps strengthen services, supports colleagues, and improves outcomes for the people who rely on care.

Thank you for everything you do.

Healthcare is a rewarding career, but we know life outside of work matters too.

We believe flexibility and high standards can go hand in hand, helping healthcare professionals build a working pattern that supports both their career ambitions and their life outside of work.

Working flexibly doesn't mean putting your career on hold. It can provide opportunities to gain experience across a variety of healthcare settings, broaden your skills, and continue doing meaningful work that aligns with your purpose.

Healthcare professionals choose Clinical Temps because they want more than just shifts. They want to work with a trusted staffing partner that understands the environments they support and values professionalism, reliability, and quality.

We provide access to flexible opportunities across nursing homes, mental health services, learning disability services, and other care environments, helping clinicians maintain high professional standards while enjoying greater choice over when and where they work.

Flexible working isn't just about choosing shifts. It's about having the freedom to build a career around your life. Whether that's balancing family life, navigating the extra demands of the summer holidays, managing other commitments, or simply looking for greater control over your schedule, flexibility can help you find a working pattern that suits you.

If you're looking for varied opportunities, greater flexibility, and a team that supports your professional journey, Clinical Temps is here to connect you with work that fits your skills and your life.

Because when clinicians feel supported, care services benefit too.

Planning ahead means better clinicians, better matching, and better outcomes.

When workforce planning starts early, there is more time to identify professionals with the right skills, experience, and understanding of your service. That means stronger continuity, greater consistency, and support that fits your team and the people you care for.

At Clinical Temps, we work in partnership with healthcare providers to deliver flexible workforce solutions that keep services running safely and effectively, whether you are planning ahead or responding to changing demand.

Get in touch to see how we can support your workforce planning with dependable clinical staffing solutions.

Looking After Your Team Starts With Good Workforce Planning

Supporting permanent staff means giving them the opportunity to take annual leave without feeling guilty.

Agency staffing should complement your workforce—not replace it.

Clinical Temps works with providers to build planned staffing solutions, reducing pressure on permanent teams.
