Happy Pride Month Everyone!

Pride Month is an opportunity to recognise the importance of creating environments where people feel able to work without fear of judgement, and where respect is consistent and embedded. We are proud to work in partnership with healthcare teams that share our values and are committed to creating safe, respectful environments for both staff and the people they support.

Pride reminds us that inclusion is not a moment in time, but an ongoing commitment woven into everyday practice.

Unplanned absences, high staff turnover, or the increasing complexity of care needs can place significant pressure on any service. These challenges do not just affect day-to-day operations, they can have a real impact on team wellbeing, consistency of care, and the overall experience of those you support.

By providing flexible, experienced clinicians who can step in at short notice, we offer more than just cover. We offer reassurance, stability, and continuity at times when it matters most. Our approach is centred on supporting both your team and your residents with care, professionalism, and understanding.

This means you can feel confident in:
• Maintaining continuity of care, so residents experience consistency, familiarity, and safety
• Meeting and upholding regulatory standards, including those set by the Care Quality Commission and Ofsted
• Reducing pressure on your permanent team, helping to prevent stress, fatigue, and burnout

Ultimately, this support helps to protect not only the people in your care, but also the wellbeing of your staff and the integrity of your service. It allows you to continue delivering high-quality care with confidence, even during more challenging periods.

If having dependable, compassionate support in place would bring you greater peace of mind, we would be glad to start a conversation with you.

Experienced agency clinicians can ease pressure on permanent teams, preventing exhaustion before it leads to turnover.

Our clinicians step in where support is most needed, helping staff manage high-acuity cases, stabilise behaviours that challenge, and maintain safe, person-centred care.

The result? Teams stay stronger, residents stay supported, and burnout is mitigated.

Supporting people in achieving their goals and helping create opportunities within healthcare is something that means a great deal to us. We value the experiences and contributions of every individual, and we are proud to work alongside so many excellent people.

When teams are stretched, even the most important plans can quietly fall to the side. Training gets postponed, service improvements are delayed, and opportunities for growth are replaced by the need to simply get through each day. Over time, this can leave teams feeling stuck in a cycle of reacting rather than moving forward.

Thoughtfully delivered 1-to-1 support helps shift that balance.

By placing skilled clinicians alongside individuals with more complex or high-dependency needs, we create breathing space across your wider team. The people who need consistent, focused care receive it, while your permanent staff are no longer pulled in multiple directions trying to meet competing demands.

This means your team can:
• Feel immediate pressure lifted, with reassurance that complex care is being safely and confidently managed
• Reconnect with their core roles, rather than constantly firefighting urgent situations
• Reinvest time into training, reflective practice, and professional development
• Focus on service improvements, quality assurance, and strengthening outcomes for those you support
• Begin planning proactively for growth, instead of reacting to ongoing challenges

Just as importantly, it supports wellbeing. When staff have the space to think, learn, and contribute meaningfully, confidence grows, morale improves, and teams are better able to sustain high-quality care over time.

1-to-1 support is not just about meeting immediate needs. It is a practical, compassionate way to protect your team’s energy and create the conditions for long-term, sustainable growth.

If you are looking to move from day-to-day pressure towards a more stable and forward-focused service, we would be glad to explore how this kind of support could work for you.

Due to continued growth and increasing demand for specialist support services across the South West, we have a growing number of flexible opportunities available for experienced Support Workers who hold a full UK driving licence.

We offer a wide range of opportunities across different settings, flexible shift patterns, competitive pay, and a dedicated team committed to supporting clinicians.

If you know someone who could be a great match, we’re currently open to referrals and would really welcome your support.
As a thank you, the first 10 successful sign-ups will receive a £50 voucher.
Terms and conditions apply. Clinicians must meet required criteria, hold relevant experience, and successfully pass interview and compliance checks to determine suitability. The voucher will be issued upon completion of the sign-up process.

1-to-1 support benefits both the individuals you support and the wider care team.

Our clinicians integrate with your existing staff to:

🔹 Provide calm, consistent support during more complex or challenging moments
🔹 Strengthen handovers and reduce day-to-day pressure on teams
🔹 Maintain continuity across shifts and environments
🔹 Apply experience in therapeutic engagement and de-escalation

When the right support is in place, services are better able to maintain stability, consistency, and confidence in care delivery.

On Monday, we packed up suitcases full of donations, and we’re really pleased to share that they’ve safely arrived in South Africa and are now continuing their journey to Ntshamathe Clinic in Sigola, Zimbabwe.

Donations included a range of PPE, medical essentials, and practical items that will directly support the staff and the people they care for every day. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has donated or supported this work so far.

Ntshamathe Clinic continues to provide vital care to its community despite real challenges with resources and infrastructure. The commitment and resilience of the team there is incredible, and we’re proud to be walking alongside them as they strengthen and grow what’s already in place.

We’ll continue to share updates as the supplies reach the clinic and as the project develops.

We are still welcoming donations of suitable medical supplies, PPE, clinical equipment, hygiene products, and other practical items that can support day-to-day care and improve conditions for both staff and patients.

If you are travelling to Africa and have spare luggage space, we would be incredibly grateful for your help in transporting supplies. We can arrange collection and delivery of donated items, and for those willing to take an additional suitcase specifically for supplies, we are able to cover the associated luggage costs.

If you’d like to get involved in any way, please do reach out.
