One of the most powerful parts of last week has been hearing real stories. Not statistics or assumptions, but lived experiences shared in people's own words. It really matters to make space for voices that are too often spoken about rather than directly heard.

Inclusive communities are shaped when people feel seen, heard, and valued. And it is through these real conversations that we are able to achieve that.

This week has been a great chance to highlight the importance of looking after both physical and mental wellbeing, but these conversations matter all year round.

By continuing to create environments where people feel comfortable talking openly about their health, checking in with one another, and seeking support when they need it, we can help break down stigma and encourage earlier intervention.

Sometimes, a conversation really can make all the difference.

Today is a celebration of autistic identity, strengths, and the importance of acceptance, understanding, and inclusion.

When we build environments where autistic people are able to bring their whole selves, feel respected and valued, and have their needs, communication styles, and ways of experiencing the world accepted, we strengthen trust and create opportunities for everyone.

Our donations have now been safely delivered to Ntshamathe Clinic in Sigola, Zimbabwe.

Seeing these supplies arrive in person is a powerful reminder of what collective effort can achieve. Each item has been gratefully received and will go directly towards supporting both staff and patients in their day-to-day care.

While these supplies will make a real difference today, our commitment goes beyond a single delivery.

The team at Ntshamathe Clinic provide an essential service to their community. They show dedication, compassion, and resilience under ongoing pressure with limited resources, and sustained support is still needed to build on the incredible work already taking place.

Together with the Joshua Masilela Foundation, we remain committed to supporting the long-term development of the clinic, helping to build greater stability and resilience for both staff and the community they care for. We will continue to accept donations and welcome anyone who feels able to support or get involved in this work.

We look forward to sharing more of this journey and the continued impact your support is making.

We’ve reflected on our Race for Life experience a lot over the past few weeks.

The evening was about much more than crossing the finish line. It was a moment to come together in support of those affected by cancer, to hold loved ones in our thoughts, and to stand alongside those navigating their own journey.

We’re proud to share that together we raised an amazing £1,045 + £221.25 Gift Aid, for Cancer Research UK. Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible. Every donation, message of support, and cheer from the sidelines played a part in helping us reach this total.

The event was filled with emotion, reflection, encouragement, and plenty of team spirit. It was a privilege to be part of such an inspiring evening and to stand alongside thousands of others united by a common cause.

We’re incredibly proud of our team and grateful to everyone who supported us.

What a lovely day at Kingsleigh yesterday.

It is wonderful to look back on what has been an incredibly positive first year for the home. All the careful planning and preparation ahead of opening, alongside the dedication of the team within the home and across our wider organisation, has helped Kingsleigh grow into a warm, welcoming and thriving home.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in supporting Kingsleigh’s journey so far. We feel very proud of this milestone.
