I’m so excited to be putting the final touches to my October retreat on October 3 and 4 at the beautiful Tractors and Cream glamping site, just outside Bridgwater.

Think acres of peaceful woodland and greenery, cosy geodomes with real beds, and proper shower and toilet facilities, all designed to help you fully relax and recharge.

What’s included:

- Yoga sessions, either in the stunning event dome or outside in nature, weather permitting
- A nutrition workshop
- Life coaching and group hypnosis
- Fully catered gluten-free, 100% vegan meals
- A mobile woodfired sauna and optional cold plunge
- Optional on-site massage treatments for even more relaxation

Be honest, were you really prepared for perimenopause or menopause? Most women aren’t.

It starts off subtly, you don’t quite feel yourself, but you can’t explain why and any symptoms, such as stress, just get brushed off.

What no-one really talks about is that symptoms can include:

- Hot flushes and mood swings
- Brain fog and forgetting what you were saying mid-sentence
- Sugar cravings that derail healthy habits
- Weight gain, poor sleep, anxiety, irritability and low mood

Never underestimate the power of a good night’s sleep!

Sleep affects everything, from your mood and hormones to your appetite and energy. Some small changes can make a big difference:

Keep a regular sleep routine - Your body loves consistency. Going to bed and waking up at similar times each day helps support deeper, better quality sleep.

Step away from the scrolling - Your phone could be sabotaging your sleep. Blue light suppresses melatonin, the hormone that helps you drift off naturally. Swap the screen for a book instead.

Stay active during the day - Movement helps your body feel ready for rest when bedtime comes around.

Think twice about that nightcap - Alcohol might make you sleepy at first, but it can disrupt sleep quality and leave you waking up exhausted.
