I recently had the pleasure of working with a client who struggled with the unsightly appearance of her nails for years. She had been treated for nail fungus, which wasn’t the case.

During her first visit, I cleaned and removed the detached nail plate—a procedure (that is almost painless). I also provided her with at-home care recommendations to promote healthy growth.

For several months, she didn’t schedule a follow-up appointment, claiming her nails were barely growing. This can certainly happen, especially considering her age, but she had fully adhered to the at-home care instructions.

After nearly five months, she returned to my clinic room and just look at the transformation!

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to attend a half-day Vascular Assessment Masterclass in Cardiff, organized by Huntleight. The workshop focused on lower limb vascular assessments, including Ankle-Brachial Pressure Index (ABPI) and Toe-Brachial Pressure Index (TBPI).

Getting up at 5 AM after a full day at the clinic was a challenge, but the knowledge gained made it all worthwhile. It’s always rewarding to expand my skills and improve patient care. Looking forward to applying what I learned!
