There will be a “Growing community Tourism in the Machars” event in the New Town Hall hosted by Galloway and Southern Ayrshire UNESCO Biosphere on 26th of June. We encourage and small businesses with an interest in tourism to attend and give their input into Biosphere plans to build on local tourism.

Date for diaries! We're hosting a community tourism workshop for the Machars on 26th June at The New Town Hall in the Biosphere Community of Whithorn. As part of the Solway Coast and Marine Project we'll be exploring ideas and opportunities for growing tourism on the UNESCO Biosphere's beautiful coast, in sustainable, nature-friendly ways that benefit local communities.
