Ever had that wonderful feeling of being completely weightless?

Some people describe feeling light, spacious or almost as though they’re floating during or after a cranial osteopathy session.

The combination of gentle touch, stillness, comfort and a quiet environment can create a deeply relaxing experience and help you tune into subtle sensations you might not usually notice.

Everyone experiences treatment differently, but that feeling of lightness can be a lovely part of taking time to pause, breathe and simply switch off.

2008... that was only four years ago, right?

It somehow feels like I qualified five minutes ago, yet also a lifetime ago.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of treating patients of all ages, and my osteopathic practice has grown to include Women’s Health and Pilates. Along the way, I opened my own Pilates studio (long before it became the trend), created Clinic 124 , and also helped establish our sister clinic, Maidstone Wellness Centre , where collaboration between practitioners is at the heart of everything we do.

What I enjoy most is looking beyond a patient’s presenting complaint and treating the person as a whole. Drawing on the fundamental principles of osteopathy to understand how the body functions as an integrated whole is something I find endlessly fascinating. It’s that holistic approach that first drew me to osteopathy, and it continues to inspire me every day. There is always more to learn, and I never tire of expanding my knowledge, skills, and experience.

For me, osteopathy has never been just a career. It’s a genuine passion, and I feel incredibly grateful to do what I love every day.

Osteopathy isn’t always the first thing people think of when it comes to children’s healthcare—but it can be an option worth considering.

Children’s bodies are constantly changing. From their first steps and starting school to sports, hobbies and growth spurts, every stage of development brings new physical demands.

At Osteopaths by the Sea, we provide gentle, age-appropriate osteopathic care tailored to the individual child. Every appointment begins with a detailed case history and assessment, allowing us to understand your child’s needs before deciding whether treatment is appropriate.

We believe the best care is collaborative. That’s why we regularly work alongside other healthcare professionals to help ensure children and their families receive the right support at the right time. We value our close working relationships with dentists including Dr. Aoife Stack , Speech and language therapist Katrina Rogers , and paediatric physiotherapists particularly Fran Thompson, and are always happy to liaise with other members of your child’s healthcare team when appropriate.

Our aim is to support children and their families with personalised care, clear information and practical advice, so parents can make informed decisions about their child’s health and wellbeing.

Every child is unique, which is why treatment recommendations are always based on an individual assessment.

If you’ve ever wondered whether osteopathy might be appropriate for your child, we’d be happy to have a conversation. To book follow the link in bio or use the details below.

At Osteopaths by the Sea, we’re always looking for new ways to spread the word about the osteopathic care we offer — sharing helpful posts, advice, and information to support our community.

Many of our new clients come to us through word-of-mouth recommendations, and we’re incredibly grateful for every person who recommends us to friends and family. Your support truly means so much to us.
We also really appreciate reviews, as they help others find us and learn about the care we provide. If you’ve visited us and would like to leave a review, we’d be so thankful to receive one on the Clinic 124 and Osteopaths by the Sea on both Google and pages.

To make a review please search for us through Google or Facebook and go directly to our review section and leave your recommendations.

Thank you for supporting our clinic and helping us continue to care for our community.

We are delighted to be welcoming Morgan Skinner to our team of Osteopaths. You will be able to see Morgan from the beginning of June on Mondays and Thursdays.

Morgan has always been passionate about understanding how the body works and how small changes can make a big difference to everyday wellbeing. That curiosity led Morgan into osteopathy, where a thoughtful and patient-focused approach is at the heart of every treatment.

Trained at the European School of Osteopathy, Morgan has experience working across specialist clinics including sports, paediatric and maternity, ultrasound, and headache clinics. Morgan has also completed additional training in sports massage, kinesiology taping, acupuncture, dry needling, and cupping.

Outside the clinic, Morgan enjoys walking, swimming, spending time outdoors, and being with family and friends. With a naturally curious mindset and a love of learning, Morgan continues to bring fresh knowledge and care into practice every day.

Book appointments through the link in bio and on our website or call 01227 941611.

Every treatment is tailored to the individual.

As you can see here, Equi-Supple Animal Physio needed some focused support, so I used a combination of articulation, soft tissue techniques, and muscle energy techniques to address her specific needs.

There is always ongoing discussion and assessment throughout the session—understanding why each technique is used and how it will help the complaint is a key part of the process. It is not just treatment, it is a collaborative approach.

As you may notice we are outside of the treatment room for this video and with a very committed (and slightly nosy) pony audience supervising every move.
