Private Vasectomy Service now available in Whitstable 🥼
Following the success of our first private vasectomy clinic, we’re pleased to offer private vasectomy procedures as part of our Private Urology Service at Estuary View Medical Centre, Whitstable.
For men who are certain they do not wish to father children in the future, a vasectomy is a safe and effective permanent contraception option.
With NHS waiting times remaining long, our private service offers a competitively priced self-funded alternative, with a clear and supportive pathway from consultation through to follow-up.
👨⚕️How it works:
1️⃣ New Consultant Appointment - A 30-minute private outpatient consultation to discuss your decision, review your health, explain the procedure and answer any questions.
2️⃣ Vasectomy procedure – Once you’ve been assessed and listed for surgery, your procedure will be scheduled at our monthly private vasectomy clinic. The 45 minute appointment includes prep and the procedure as well as post-operative advice, and is performed under local anaesthetic.
3️⃣ Follow-up – A semen analysis is arranged approximately 12–16 weeks after your procedure to confirm its success. This is included in the total cost.
You’ll also receive clear guidance on preparing for your procedure and your recovery, including advice around rest, pain relief and returning to normal activities. A detailed procedure report will also be sent to your GP.
