You’re not passing down stress…
you’re passing down patterns 🧠
Your child’s nervous system is constantly learning from the environment around them — not just from what is said, but from what is felt.
This happens through biology.
The nervous system develops by adapting to repeated experiences. Tone of voice, pace of life, emotional tension, and levels of stress all shape how the body learns to respond to the world 🤍
Over time, these repeated responses become patterns:
• how quickly the body moves into stress
• how easily it calms down
• how safe connection feels
• how much emotional capacity is available
This is how family patterns are formed.
Science describes this through processes like neuroplasticity and epigenetics 🧬
Meaning the body adapts based on its environment — not just mentally, but physically.
But here’s the most important part:
Patterns are not permanent.
When the nervous system experiences more safety, stillness, and regulation, those patterns can begin to change 🌿
Not through force — but through new experiences.
And when one nervous system changes, it often impacts the whole family.
If you want to understand your family’s patterns at a deeper level, our Immersion Experience Day (June 13th) is the perfect place to start.
Or for more personalised support, our Intensive Week (May 25th) gives your nervous system the space to truly reorganise.
