Have you been feeling less masculine lately.
Sorry for the Ladies in my groups but this one isn’t for you.
But for the guys, if you have been feeling less masculine lately and you have been looking at dropping a few KG of fat on that belly area have you thought they they may be connected.
The simple but often times offensive answer is simply that they are.
It has been proven time and time again that extra levels of fat in the body create a negative feedback loop for the body in regards to your natural testosterone levels.
No what does this mean in English because this is where many science based personal trainers fail.
Fat cells allow for an increase in Aromatase.
This increase in Aromatase within the fat is also known as Esteogen synthase.
Now typically when you have more testosterone in your body, you will naturally have more estrogen.
However this doesn’t apply the other way around and in fact leads to the opposite as your body.
This is because your body pumps estrogen in the body to regulate the testosterone.
If there are high levels of testosterone your body won’t produce as much testosterone as it believes the estrogen has been stabilised.
Quite Simply for guys, being fat will lead you to feeling more feminine and scientifically will lower your testosterone levels.
This is also why if you try to get TRT from the doctor, they will almost always ask you to lose weight first to see if this resolves the issue.
Now this is the hard truth of the matter.
Testosterone makes it easier to gain muscle.
Being high in fat reduces test
Reduced test makes it harder to gain muscle and lose fat.
It’s a vicious cycle and if you feel like this may be you.
Let’s work together and get your life back on track.
