U11s Match Report

Sunday morning 10.30 kick off with an away trip to Rochdale Mayfield was the venue for today’s fixture for the u11s. Having had a week off and the odd break in training in the last couple of weeks it was a game that could have swung either way leading up to it.

It was evident from the start that today’s game would be tough with Rochdale having 10 subs on the sidelines. The size difference between both sides was also evident but that didn’t phase our boys and girls.

A little slower than usual start to games with a couple of quick tries was a wake up call. We slowly started getting into a rhtyhm with success coming from Logan M on the wing. We knew defence would play a big part in getting a result and up step our reigning man of steel Harrison with his best performance of the season. The only person who he didn’t tackle was the ref. Big metres as usual coming from Corey Alfie and Ashton. Jack another stand out performer at 9.

Some moments of the game we looked our usual industrius selves with some great D and creative plays which have been drilled in training. Still plenty to work on moving into the remaining fixtures before the summer break.
