Join our GPS (Guided Personalised Support) in-person workshop focused on navigating sleep issues for families of neurodivergent children and young people.

When: Tuesday 8th September, 10:00am – 12 midday

Where: Hindley Family Hub, Mornington Road, Hindley

Cost: Free — no need to book, just turn up on the day!

What the session covers:

We’ll focus on the three biggest daily challenges:

Getting to sleep (winding down and settling)

Staying asleep (night waking and restlessness)

Getting up in the morning (transitioning into the day)

Advice, insight, and discussion on:

Why sleep matters and the specific difficulties linked with neurodivergence

Understanding that "the right amount of sleep" is different for everyone

Circadian rhythms and how predictable routines support internal clocks

Sensory processing and chemical roles in sleep (including serotonin and melatonin)

Practical, workable strategies for bedtime, overnight, and morning routines

General sleep facts, myth-busting, and handy tips

Whether you have specific questions or just want to pick up a few practical ideas in an informal, supportive space, we’d love to see you there.

This is a 2 hour session
