We took time to pamper, with massage and meditation.

Self care is paramount for our mental health, while taking care of ourselves physically too!

Movement Monday.

Today, our rainbow rangers enjoyed their wheelchair dancing, laughter and smiles all round.
We have been working hard on our routines for the past 5 months to embed retrieval practice which helps with memory retention.

After dinner, we headed back to the theatre for abit more dancing and then incorporated fun with learning, with a game of hungry hippo’s.
We worked on identifying our colours as well as our counting skills.

What a wonderful day we’ve all had ❤️

A great big THANK YOU to Ian and the Music in Mind Team for putting on such an amazing ‘MIMS Festival’.

Everyone from One Vision Studios had a super time, dancing and singing all day long. There were so many wonderful photo opportunities throughout the day, but we are especially grateful that you invited the One Vision Performing Arts Team to perform at the event.

WOW! What an incredible experience.

We have received an abundance of wonderful feedback, with so many people saying they were blown away by the talents, choreography, and enthusiasm of our members and staff.

WELL DONE One Vision Studios, and a huge WELL DONE and THANK YOU to Ian and the team for creating another fantastic day filled with joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories ❤️❤️❤️

Foodie Friday. Our sensory group love our Friday cooking sessions, from the preparation to the eating, there’s always plenty of smiles. After all the hard work we enjoy relaxing with our head spas and massage. Special mention goes to Neil today, for his impressive independent movement skills! Neil got himself from the mat onto the waterbed and look how proud he is 💙

What a beautiful day for work experience.

Today our sensory group got to work in the garden, working hard on our health and safety when using garden tools.

We loved getting in the polytunnel too, watering the plants and we even got chance to pick some of our veg.

Even better, we got to taste the freshly picked radish and spring onion and they were delicious.

After all that hard work, we had an afternoon of relaxation and mindfulness to round off a great day 💚

Sensory Superstars Heat It Up in the Kitchen!

Our Sensory Superstars cooking group was back in the kitchen today, and what a fantastic session it was! We were excited to welcome even more superstars to the group, making today’s class bigger and better than ever.

The group worked together to prepare a delicious meal of southern fried chicken, fresh salad, and crispy sweet potato fries. Everyone showed excellent enthusiasm and teamwork throughout the session.

A big highlight of the class was the amazing cutting skills demonstrated by all members showing great progress in their independence and kitchen safety skills.

There was lots of sensory exploration through touching, smelling, tasting, and preparing the different ingredients. Members enjoyed trying new foods and developing their confidence in the kitchen environment.

Well done to all of our Sensory Superstars for another successful cooking session — we are so proud of the effort, focus, and teamwork shown by everyone today!
