🧟‍♂️ WALKING DEAD INSPIRED — BLACKPOOL TATCON 🧟‍♂️

This one was a proper labour of love! 🖤

I absolutely loved tattooing this Walking Dead inspired piece at Blackpool Tatcon on Saturday — a creepy walker surrounded by that dark, atmospheric woodland scene. 🌲💀

It may not have taken home an award this time, but honestly, the positive comments from the judges and everyone who stopped to look at it throughout the convention meant so much.

There’s always a little bit of nerves putting your work out there at a convention, especially when you're surrounded by so many incredible artists, so hearing such lovely feedback was amazing. ❤️

A massive thank you to my model/canvas for trusting me with this piece and sitting so brilliantly while I brought the design to life. 🖤

I went into Tatcon wanting to push myself, create something I genuinely loved and enjoy the experience — and I definitely did all three!

Day 1 at the Blackpool Tattoo Convention completed! 🩸🧟‍♂️

​Kicked off the weekend by creating this Walking Dead inspired zombie piece. Massive thanks to Craig for sitting like an absolute trooper through the entire session. I couldn't have asked for a better canvas to start the show.

🐦‍⬛ COVER-UP TRANSFORMATION 🐦‍⬛
From an old tattoo that no longer felt right… to a completely new piece with a whole new story. 🖤
This raven, surrounded by peonies and colour, was designed as a full cover-up, carefully worked around what was already there underneath.
Swipe through to see the process — from the original tattoo, to the stencil, the first sitting and finally the finished piece. ✨
This was completed over two sittings, allowing me to build the coverage, colour and detail properly rather than trying to rush the process.
I absolutely love how the raven has become the focal point, with the flowers and pops of colour bringing the whole design together. 🐦‍⬛🌸

Fresh vs Healed 🐾

There's nothing better than seeing a tattoo once it's fully healed. It gives you the true picture of how the detail, contrast and realism have settled into the skin.

This custom dog portrait was created to capture not just a likeness, but the personality of a much-loved companion. Every little detail, from the texture of the fur to the expression in the eyes, was carefully worked to make this piece as lifelike as possible.

Bit of a darker one for this piece 🎤🖤

Really enjoyed putting this together — loads of texture, contrast and detail throughout, especially in the mask and hands.
Definitely one of those tattoos that changes depending on how the light hits it.

Big fan of projects like this where you can mix realism with a darker atmosphere 👀

Would love to do more pieces in this style.

Bank holiday post ⚔️🖤

Really enjoyed working on this Lagertha piece — always loved the look and detail of the Viking portraits.
Tried to keep this one strong and atmospheric without overworking it.

Definitely the kind of projects I’d love to do more of 👀
