For a while now, I’ve been searching for a space that felt right for Fabled Fern Tattoo Studio. Somewhere that felt safe, somewhere that felt like home.
Nothing ever really felt right...
Until now.
I’m so excited to finally share that Fabled Fern will soon be opening its new home in the historic Makinson Arcade in Wigan 🌿
This feels like more than just opening a studio, it feels like reclaiming my place within an industry that I’ve often struggled to feel at home in. There have been years where tattooing has felt consumed by anxiety, grief and uncertainty for me, and creating this space feels like finally choosing myself, my art, and my place within an industry I genuinely love.
A lot of people know me for the advocacy work I do within tattooing, which is more important to me than I could ever put into words. But I also want to allow myself to exist here as an artist, a creator and a studio owner… to take up space, make beautiful things, and create stories through art and tattoos.
We’ll be opening very soon, taking bookings, and we’re also looking for a full-time or part-time artist to join us 🌿
