We had such a lovely afternoon here at The Hawthorns for our special pamper day, beautifully organized by our wonderful activity coordinator, Dawn! 💅

✨The lounge was filled with smiles and relaxation as everyone got a little extra care. Our lovely ladies treated themselves to a full manicure session, getting their nails beautifully trimmed, cleaned, and painted in some gorgeous colours. 🌸

The gentlemen also joined in on the relaxation, enjoying some top-tier grooming with their own nail trimming and cleaning. 🧼💈

To make the afternoon even sweeter, we all sat back and enjoyed a screening of the classic movie Unlikely Angel, starring the lovely Dolly Parton. 🎬🎤

There is truly nothing better than good company, a bit of pampering, and a heartwarming film. 🍿❤️Thank you, Dawn, for treating our residents to such a relaxing and joyful day! 🙌🥰

🎶🕺 Flashback to the 50s & 60s at The Hawthorns! 💃

🎶Today, our wonderful residents took a nostalgic trip down memory lane with a fabulous 1950s and 1960s themed day! 🕒✨

Both of our dining rooms were completely transformed with retro vinyl records, 60s peace signs, and classic camper vans hanging everywhere to set the perfect groovy mood! ✌️☮️

🚐Our incredibly talented Chef Andre treated everyone to a spectacular themed menu that had everyone reminiscing over lunchtime and dinnertime favorites! 🧑‍🍳🍳

Here is what was on the menu today:Lunchtime: Residents chose between a luxurious Beef Wellington or nostalgic Spam Fritters 🥩🍽️, followed by a classic Upside-Down Pineapple Cake for dessert! 🍍🍰

Dinnertime: A delicious Coronation Chicken Salad 🥗🍗 served with a sweet treat of Peaches and Cream for dessert! 🍑🍨

The best part of the day? The music! 🎶 Everyone spent the day singing along to classic hits playing all day long! 🎤🗣️ There were plenty of smiles, wonderful memories shared, and fantastic food enjoyed by all! 🥰❤️A huge thank you to Chef Andre and the team for making today so special for our residents! 👏👏🥳

The residents at The Hawthorns had a fantastic, high-energy start to their day this morning! 🤸‍♂️☀️

🎉Everyone gathered together for an uplifting morning exercise class hosted by the wonderful team at Fitness. 🏋️‍♀️

🧘‍♂️ From gentle stretching to light cardio, our residents gave it their all, sharing plenty of smiles, laughs, and great energy throughout the session! 😁👏

✨Staying active is such an important part of life here, and we love seeing everyone come together to move, boost their well-being, and have fun! 🏃‍♂️💪❤️🌈

A huge thank you to Fitness for keeping us moving and motivated! 🙌🥳🎈

Our lovely residents at The Hawthorns had a fantastic afternoon filled with laughter, suspense, and a highly competitive game of bingo! 🥳🎉

🙌A huge thank you to our wonderful activity coordinator, Dawn, who did a brilliant job calling out the lucky numbers and keeping everyone on the edge of their seats! 🗣️

✨We had some incredibly lucky ducks in the dining room today! 🦆🍀
