Happy Father's Day to the wonderful gentlemen at The Hawthorns Wilmslow! 👔✨
We loved treating our male residents to special gift bags today. Each package was packed with a few of their favourite things to help them celebrate: a fun plush toy football, a fresh shower gel, a NIVEA gift set, a pair of Dad socks 🧦 and a sweet little box of Celebrations. 🍫⚽
Our dining room looked amazing too! One of our talented residents teamed up with our activity coordinator to make beautiful homemade paper chains featuring little paper ties. It added the perfect personal touch to our celebration. 🎨✂️

✨️ PAMPER DAY PERFECTION AT The Hawthorns - Minster Care Group ✨️
The home was filled with smiles, laughter, and the wonderful tunes of the 50s and 60s today for our special pamper day! 🎶
Our lovely 😍 ladies and gentlemen spent the day getting completely spolied:
💅 The ladies enjoyed having their nails beautifully cleaned and painted.
🧼 The gentlemen had their nails expertly cleaned and neatly trimmed.
💇‍♀️💈 Everyone finished the day with a fresh, fabulous hair styling session!
It was the perfect way to relax, listen to some music 🎶 and feel like royalty 👑

📷 Making memories one person at a time! We're dedicating this afternoon to cozy, 1 to 1 sessions with our resident's. These private, relaxed catch ups are all about taking gentle pace from looking through photo albums, to listening to their favourite music, doing crosswords together. We love ❤️ these moments to truly connect and give each reaident that extra special one to one experience 🥰💕

What a brilliant quiz session we've just wrapped up with our resident's! There was plenty of friendly competition, teamwork, and lots of laughter as everyone put their general knowledge to the test 😉 😄
A massive well done 👏 to all our brilliant participants for working so well together. 🏆
It is always so wonderful to see everyone engaged, socialising, and having fun. 🥰

We had the most magical afternoon in the dining room today! 🎶🍀🇮🇪 A massive thankyou to Ceri, one of our resident's wonderful family members, for coming in and treating everyone to a beautiful session of Irish 🇮🇪🍀 songs here at The Hawthorns - Minster Care Group.
It was so special to see everyone smiling, clapping, and singing along to the familiar tunes. There's nothing quite like the power of music 🎶 to bring people together and spark such Happy memories in our home 🏡 💕

🎬 A Magical Morning At The Movies! 🌟

Our wonderful residents are having a fantastic time in the lounge today for our morning movie screening ✨️🍿
Today we are watching the classic 1951 musical 🎼THE ROYAL WEDDING. There is already so much joy in the room as everyone settles in to watch Fred Astaire and Jane Powell sing and dance their hearts out 💖
Events like this are a wonderful way for our residents to relax, share smiles, and enjoy each others company. We even have some delicious snacks popcorn 🍿 and bananas 🍌 with warm drinks ☕️🫖 to make it a true cinema experience!
