🍂🦉 Today we got busy in arts and crafts making these adorable autumnal owls from pine cones! 🌲🍁

The ladies really enjoyed getting creative, and it was lovely to see their imagination come to life. It’s amazing what you can make from simple items found in the woods! 🌿✨

A lovely afternoon of creativity, laughter and a little bit of autumn magic. 🍂🦉❤️

🍂🍁 A lovely afternoon of autumn crafting! 🍁🍂

This afternoon, our ladies had a wonderful time getting creative and making some beautiful autumnal flower baskets 🧺🌻🍁🌿 to brighten up the outside of The Magna! 🌼🌿✨

We were delighted to be joined by two lovely young pupils from Canford Magna School, Tommy and Freddie 👦👦💚, who thoroughly enjoyed getting involved and helping our ladies create their beautiful baskets. 🥰🧺🌸

There was lots of laughter, chatting and creativity throughout the afternoon, and it was wonderful to see generations coming together, sharing skills and making special memories. ❤️😊🤝

A huge thank you to Tommy and Freddie for all your help — you were fantastic! 🌟👏💚

We think the finished baskets look absolutely gorgeous! 🧺🍂🌺🍁🌿

☕️💚 What a lovely Macmillan Coffee Morning! 💚☕️

A huge heartfelt thank you to everyone who came along and helped make our Macmillan Coffee Morning such a special and enjoyable morning. It was wonderful to see everyone coming together, enjoying a cuppa, sharing some lovely cakes and, most importantly, raising money for such a wonderful cause.

We also had the very important job of choosing our Magna Star Baker! ⭐️👩‍🍳

A massive congratulations to Carol - our very deserving winner! 🏆🎂 Well done, Carol! 🎉

We’re so pleased to say that £120.85 has been raised so far for Macmillan Cancer Support. Every single penny counts, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who donated and supported us. 💚

Thank you all for making it such a lovely morning — your kindness and generosity really do make a difference. 🥰💚

🍂 As we head towards Autumn… 🍂

We’ve been getting our residents involved and asking what delicious dishes they’d like to see on our menu this season!

It’s been wonderful hearing everyone’s suggestions and making sure our residents have a say in the meals they enjoy.

There’s now plenty to pass on to our kitchen team, who will be working their magic to bring some of those suggestions to life!

Autumn, we’re ready for you! 🍁🥧

🍯🐻💛 A Very Special Winnie-the-Pooh Celebration! 💛🐻🍯

What a wonderful time we’ve had celebrating 100 years of Winnie-the-Pooh!

We stepped into the magical world of the Hundred Acre Wood while discovering the fascinating history behind one of the world’s most beloved bears. We learnt about the real-life bear Winnipeg, who inspired A. A. Milne’s famous character - making the story of Pooh feel even more special!

Then it was time for a challenge… 🧩🔤

We put our thinking caps on and explored the letters in “Christopher Robin”, seeing how many different words we could make. There was lots of excitement, teamwork and plenty of “I’ve got another one!” moments! 😄

And the final result was absolutely amazing…

🎊 100 WORDS FOR 100 YEARS! 🎊

What a fantastic achievement! 🥰

It was a lovely opportunity to celebrate not only Winnie-the-Pooh and his wonderful friends, but also the joy of stories, imagination, teamwork and learning together. 💛

Here’s to 100 years of adventures, friendship and a little bit of honey! 🍯🐝
