We would like to kindly remind all patients that we have always aimed to get repeat prescriptions ready within 48-72 hours from when it has been received by us as per our signs up in the pharmacy.
These are 48-72 hours working days (Saturday and Sundays are not included)

We apologise for any long queues that we have on a Saturday we have shorter working hours and less staff in

We have to label, order and dispense the medications in a safe manner.

The GP surgery are are now recommending 3-5 working days on repeat prescriptions which we hugely appreciate.

We will always strive to do our best and do it as quick as we can for you but safety always has to Be paramount.

If you can please take into consideration the new timings the GP surgery has advised we would massively appreciate it.
We have had lots of new patients and we have more services that we now provide so giving us as much time as you can is massively appreciated.

We of course understand that life gets busy and sometimes you forget to order your tablets, everyone is human- and in these case we will always try to accommodate where we can

Could you have high blood pressure? You may be able to get this checked for free at a pharmacy.

High blood pressure can cause serious conditions such as stroke and heart disease.

To all of our lovely patients,

we apologise for any delays and queues experienced over the past couple of weeks regarding your prescriptions.

We are a very busy pharmacy and have recently upgraded our computers to enable a more efficient service.
As with all new things, we are experiencing teething problems but are 100% committed to do the best we can under the circumstances.

Unfortunately we have had the new system installed in the middle of 2 bank holidays and while the COVID clinic has been on so we are running a little behind.

We have a limited availability of flu vaccines available, but hurry as the deadline is 31st March (this month!)

First come first served basis, pop into our pharmacy on the town centre or give us a call on 01606 558321 if you have any enquiries 😊

Please avoid between 12pm and 1pm as our vaccinator isn’t available during this time.
