We celebrated Theo”s 101st birthday yesterday and our residents enjoyed yummy cheese & fruit scones in the cafe made by our chefs. Also a fantastic cake to celebrate a huge milestone.
As a special request Emma arranged a private lunch in the cafe for Theo’s family and friends enjoying her favourite dish.

Another huge thank you to Witney Round Table for coming along to our fête and running such a fantastic bar! 🍻

Our residents absolutely loved getting involved and trying Yabba Dabba Do, a b**r made by the Round Table in collaboration with Little Ox Brewery — it certainly went down well! 😁🍺

It was brilliant having you there and we’re so grateful for your support in making the afternoon so special for our residents, families and local community.

Update! Molly and Joan have completed their puzzle today! 🧩😊

It was certainly a tricky one, with lots of unusual shaped pieces, but they persevered and got there in the end! Joan was very pleased to have the honour of putting in the final piece. What a lovely sense of achievement after all their hard work together! 💛

Molly and Joan decided to spend a relaxing early evening together, getting started on a 250-piece puzzle! 🧩

We love moments like these – taking some time to slow down, have a chat and enjoy each other’s company while working towards something together. Sometimes it’s the simple, peaceful moments that mean the most. 🥰

We’ll have to see how long it takes us to complete it! 👀🧩

🎯🏆 An Afternoon of Friendly Competition! 🏆🎯

This afternoon we enjoyed three fun-filled rounds of carpet boules, with plenty of friendly competition and encouragement along the way. A big congratulations to our champion, Jim, who took the win! 👏🥇

We then moved on to some netball drills with a beach ball, led by our lovely resident Georgie! 🏐💛 Georgie enjoyed sharing her knowledge with us and showing everyone how it’s done – a wonderful way to bring her own skills and experience into our afternoon.

Lots of movement, laughter and teamwork made for a brilliant afternoon together! 😊

This morning, we kept active with some lovely walks around the garden, making the most of the fresh air and sunshine before it got too hot! 🌸

It was a beautiful way to start the day, enjoying the peaceful surroundings, having a good chat and getting those steps in. 🚶‍♀️🌼💚
