To make the most of the last day of sunshine before the weather turns, we enjoyed a wonderful afternoon garden party complete with tasty picky bits and our very own “Dress to Impress” competition!

Our residents truly embraced the occasion, with everyone getting dressed up and joining in the fun – even Charlie got involved! 👗☀️

Congratulations to Shirley, who was crowned our Best Dressed Lady, and to Charlie, our Best Dressed Gent. Both were very deserving winners!

It was lovely to see so many smiles, laughter and friendly competition as we made the most of the beautiful weather together. A perfect way to end the week at Millers Grange☀️

There was lots of teamwork, friendly competition and laughter as residents formed their own teams and put their knowledge to the test. It was wonderful seeing everyone so engaged, sharing memories, discussing answers and enjoying each other’s company throughout the afternoon💜

We are so grateful to work alongside Sarah from Dinky Ponies and welcome her into our home so regularly. Sarah has such a special way with all of our ladies and gents, alongside her wonderful little sidekick, Poppy 🐴

These visits mean more than words can say — Eileen has not parted with her Poppy since, and you’ll often spot her and Jean sitting proudly in the café with them by their side.

The comfort, joy and connection animals bring is simply magical ✨

Residents enjoyed a wonderful afternoon filled with delicious cakes and sandwiches prepared by our fantastic chefs, Rob & Emma, alongside a big sing-along to some much-loved classics from years gone by 🎶☕🍰

With the weather forecast showing a beautiful hot day, we decided this morning to make the most of it with a spontaneous garden party 🌞

It may have been last minute, but it turned into such a lovely afternoon! Residents enjoyed relaxing in the sunshine with music playing, plenty of laughter, and a fantastic selection of refreshing cocktails specially prepared by our talented Head Chef Emma 🍹

From fruity favourites to classic mixes, there was something for everyone as we sat back, socialised, and enjoyed the warm weather together.
