Before this beautiful lady ever walked through my door, she had already done the hard work

She has lost an incredible SEVEN STONE over the years and has been so consistent in looking after her body - and that matters more than people realise

Because her body wasn’t presenting with lots inflammation, I wasn’t having to spend the session calming first

It allowed me to focus on supporting lymphatic flow and shifting the fluid and stagnation that was lingering - and WOW did her body respond

This lovely lady underwent a full hysterectomy in December and since then, one of the things she’s struggled with is persistent bloating

She came to DBC for her first DBC Full Body Lymphatic Drainage Massage - and when we put her before and after photos side by side, even I couldn’t believe it

One appointment • Three different angles • Same incredible response

You can visibly see the change through her abdomen - particularly the reduction in that heavy, distended appearance she arrived with
The standing ones are even more astounding, but we will leave them in the camera roll

For me, this isn’t about having a “flatter stomach”

My client has absolutely smashed her aftercare, and these results are the perfect reminder that what we do together in the clinic and what you do for yourself between appointments go hand in hand

One of the biggest lessons I teach is this…

No two bodies are ever the same

Today’s beautiful client lives with IBS, a condition that often goes hand in hand with chronic inflammation in the tummy, stagnation and fluid retention
When inflammation is present, our first priority isn’t chasing dramatic visual changes - it’s creating the right environment for the body to begin healing

Even so… look at these results

This is exactly why comparison has no place in bodywork
Every client starts from a different place, and every body responds differently

Today’s Masterclass wasn’t about learning another treatment
already had those foundations

Today was about developing a deeper level of understanding

✨ Learning to recognise the difference between inflammation, stagnation and fluid retention

✨ Learning to feel what the tissues are communicating beneath your hands

✨ Learning to feel

✨ Learning how to explain those findings to the client so they understand their own body and become part of the healing journey

Because when a client understands why their body feels the way it does, they’re far more empowered to support it outside of the treatment room

The DBC Philosophy is about more than technique

It’s about connection

Connecting with the body
Connecting with the client
And helping the client reconnect with themselves

Because when you truly understand the body… you stop following a routine, and you start treating the person in front of you

wonderful supermodel has left today not only feeling lighter, but with a greater understanding of the inflammation within her body and the steps she can take to support herself between her next treatments
That knowledge is just as valuable as the treatment itself

This is only the beginning of her journey, and I can’t wait to watch her continue to calm the inflammation, support her body from the inside out, and see how her progress unfolds over the coming weeks
