Acne transformation • January 2026 → May 2026
When your deeper focus is internal health, regulation, and restoration, your skin responds rapidly.
This lady who is in her late 30s initially came to me seeking support for persistent acne which she had been battling with for 12-18 months. During consultation, it became clear to me that her skin concerns were closely connected to other inflammatory conditions she was experiencing, and were probably exacerbated further by lifestyle, and emotional factors identified throughout her medical history.
Because of medical considerations, treatment had to remain conservative, barrier-supportive, and clinically appropriate.
What we focused on:
• In-clinic treatment limited to gentle resurfacing + LED therapy
• A simple, consistent skincare routine designed to support skin barrier function and repair.
• A bespoke 6-week Functional Coaching programme designed around her specific condition addressing:
– Nutrition, gut health and inflammatory load
– Nervous system regulation and stress physiology
– Mindset and limiting beliefs
– Emotional wellbeing surrounding her medical condition
– Appropriate movement and recovery strategies
– Lifestyle interventions to support overall health optimisation
For me, the goal was never simply “treating acne.”
It was supporting her mind and body in a way that reduced chronic inflammation, improved resilience, and created an environment where her skin could heal effective.
Healthy skin is not about the skin alone.
