🕊️ Remembering 9/11 🕊️

Today we remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the many acts of courage and compassion shown in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

Some moments in history leave a lasting mark on the world — reminding us of the fragility of life, the importance of kindness, and the strength of the human spirit.

We remember. We honour. We will never forget. 🤍🕊️

Sometimes the heaviest things we carry can’t be seen. 🤍

Stress, expectations, past experiences, worries, responsibilities and emotions can all add to our mental load until life starts to feel overwhelming.

But you don’t have to carry everything alone. 🌿

Talking, reaching out for support and taking time to look after your emotional wellbeing isn’t a sign of weakness — it’s a sign of self-care and strength.

You are allowed to put the backpack down.
You are allowed to rest.
You are allowed to ask for help. 💚

🌿 Sometimes the parts of us that feel broken are the very places where healing begins.

Life can leave us carrying hurt, disappointment, loss and experiences we never expected. But healing doesn’t mean becoming the person you were before.

It can mean rebuilding yourself with greater self-awareness, strength, compassion and understanding. ✨

You don’t have to hide your cracks or have everything figured out. Sometimes, the light gets in through the very places that once hurt the most. 💛

Be gentle with yourself. Healing takes time. 🤍

🌈 A gentle reminder to not wait for tomorrow to start living today.

Someone who died yesterday had plans for today.

We often tell ourselves:

“I’ll do it when life settles down.”
“I’ll look after myself when I have more time.”
“I’ll reach out when things get easier.”
“I’ll start again tomorrow.”

But life doesn’t always give us the certainty of tomorrow.

This isn’t about living every day perfectly or putting pressure on ourselves to make the most of every moment. It’s about noticing what matters to us today.

❤️ Make the phone call.
❤️ Spend time with someone you love.
❤️ Rest when you need to.
❤️ Say what you’ve been holding inside.
❤️ Ask for help when life feels too heavy.
❤️ Give yourself permission to begin again.

Your mental health matters. Your relationships matter. And you matter.

If today feels difficult, you don’t have to figure everything out at once. Sometimes the most important step is simply reaching out and saying, “I’m not okay.”

🌿 Motherhood… the beautiful contradiction. 🤍

When our children are little, we can feel exhausted, overwhelmed and stretched in a hundred different directions.

The noise.
The mess.
The constant questions.
The sleepless nights.
The worry that we’re never doing enough.

Sometimes we long for just a few moments of peace.

And then, somehow, they grow.

The house becomes quieter.
The toys disappear.
The little voices become less frequent.
And suddenly, we find ourselves missing the very things we once found overwhelming. 🥹

We miss the cuddles.
The laughter.
The “Mummy!” from the other room.
The little conversations.
Even the chaos.

That’s the bittersweet journey of motherhood — learning to hold gratitude and grief at the same time. 🌸

If you’re in the exhausting years right now, be gentle with yourself. You don’t have to cherish every moment to be a good mum. Some moments are simply hard.

And if your children have grown and you’re finding yourself missing those days… that feeling is okay too. ❤️

Sometimes we don’t realise we’re living through moments we’ll one day long to return to.

✨ Becoming yourself, one piece at a time. ✨

Sometimes we spend years trying to be who we think we should be — shaped by expectations, responsibilities, other people’s opinions and the need to keep everyone else happy.

But healing can be the process of coming back to who you really are. 🤍

You don't have to become a completely different person.
You can rebuild with the pieces that are already yours — your values, your strengths, your experiences, your hopes and even the parts of yourself you once felt you had to hide.

🌿 You are allowed to change.
🌿 You are allowed to set boundaries.
🌿 You are allowed to put yourself first.
🌿 You are allowed to create a life that feels authentic to you.

Your past may be part of your story, but it doesn't have to define your future.

Healing isn't about becoming perfect.
It's about becoming more fully yourself. 💚

🌿 PERIMENOPAUSE & YOUR MENTAL HEALTH 🌿

Perimenopause isn’t only about changing periods, hot flushes or disrupted sleep. It can also affect the way you think, feel and experience yourself.

You may notice:
🤍 Increased anxiety or worry
🤍 Feeling more emotionally sensitive or overwhelmed
🤍 Irritability or a shorter fuse
🤍 Low mood or tearfulness
🤍 Brain fog and difficulty concentrating
🤍 Changes in confidence and self-esteem
🤍 Feeling unlike your “usual self”
🤍 Feeling exhausted from constantly trying to keep everything together

And sometimes the hardest part is not understanding why you feel different.

Please remember: struggling emotionally during this stage does not mean you are weak, failing, or “just being hormonal.” Your mental wellbeing matters.

🌱 Give yourself permission to slow down.
🌱 Talk about how you are feeling.
🌱 Seek support when you need it.
🌱 Be compassionate towards the version of you who is navigating change.

You don't have to simply push through.

Perimenopause is a significant life transition, and your emotional wellbeing deserves just as much attention as your physical health.

You are still you — even when you don't quite feel like yourself right now. 🤍

🌿 Choosing peace can be one of the hardest — and most powerful — choices we make.

Sometimes protecting your peace means saying goodbye.

Goodbye to relationships that constantly drain you.
Goodbye to conversations that leave you questioning your worth.
Goodbye to habits that keep you stuck.
Goodbye to places where you no longer feel safe or at ease.
And sometimes… goodbye to the version of yourself that learned to survive by putting everyone else first. 🤍

Letting go doesn’t mean you don’t care.
It means you are beginning to care about yourself, your wellbeing and your future too.

You are allowed to outgrow what once felt familiar.
You are allowed to choose calm over chaos.
You are allowed to walk through a different door. 🚪🌱

Peace may come with goodbyes, but sometimes those goodbyes make space for the life you truly deserve.

🌿 Where is your energy going? 🌿

We only have so much emotional and mental energy each day — yet so much of it can quietly disappear into overthinking, worrying about the future, replaying the past, people-pleasing, arguments, endless scrolling and things that simply don’t deserve our peace.

Sometimes we feel exhausted not because we’ve done too much, but because we’ve carried too much in our minds. 🤍

Pause and ask yourself:

✨ What is draining me?
✨ What is within my control?
✨ What deserves my energy?
✨ What can I choose to let go of?

Protecting your energy isn’t selfish.
It’s an act of self-respect.

Save some of your energy for the things that truly matter — your healing, your relationships, your dreams and the life you’re building. 🌱

You don’t have to give your energy to everything that asks for it.

🌿 Today’s Thought 🌿

Sometimes, healing isn’t about finding another thing to fix.

Sometimes, it’s about creating more peace in your mind, more kindness towards yourself, and more moments that make your heart feel lighter. 🤍

Our emotional wellbeing is influenced by the way we live, the people we surround ourselves with, the boundaries we create, and the time we allow ourselves simply to breathe, rest, laugh and connect.

You deserve a life that feels safe, meaningful and peaceful — not just one that looks okay from the outside. 🌱

✨ Nourish your mind. Protect your peace. Choose what helps you heal.
