Meet Joe 👋

Joe is a specialist MSK physio with extensive experience across both NHS and private healthcare settings. Alongside diagnosing and treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, Joe has a special interest in injection therapy, providing corticosteroid and hyaluronic acid injections to help reduce pain, ease inflammation, and support recovery for a range of conditions.

Joe combines expert assessment with evidence-based rehabilitation to help patients achieve the best long-term outcomes.

Outside the clinic, Joe enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children and can often be found sailing, golfing, camping, or exploring the Suffolk countryside and coastline ⛳️⛵️

Meet Louisa 👋

In over 20 years as an MSK physio Louisa has had a varied career working for NHS, MOD, charities and various sports (Rugby union and league and snowsports) in various countries (UK, France, Germany, Australia and Brunei).

Since returning to the NHS in 2023, she has specialised as an upper limb physio working closely with Ipswich Shoulder consultants, she is also the oncology lead in the NHS physio dept and has additional training in oncology scar massage. She finds physio very rewarding and loves empowering patients to reach their goals and returning to their preferred activities.

Outside of physio she is usually found with her family and dog, splitting her weekends between Suffolk and Norfolk where she also helps out with the family business 🐶👰‍♀️

Meet the Team – Lesley 👋

Lesley is our friendly receptionist and the first point of contact when you visit our practice! Since joining us in 2019, Lesley has been welcoming patients with a warm smile and helping ensure everyone feels comfortable and supported from the moment they get in touch as well as keeping the rest of us straight!

Outside of work, Lesley loves spending time with family and friends, attending live music events, and researching her family ancestry history 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒🎸

Meet Kate 👋

With 14 years of experience across orthopaedics, neurology, and MSK physiotherapy — plus qualifications in sports massage and radiography — Kate brings expert, well-rounded rehab directly to you.

Her speciality is community rehabilitation, helping people recover and regain independence in their own home or care home following injury, illness, or hospital stays. She loves helping people to achieve their personal rehabilitation goals and regain or reach the quality of life they have the potential to live.

Outside of physio life, she’s usually found climbing or adventuring in the Peak District 🧗‍♀️

Meet Beccy - one of our full time staff members 👋

Since qualifying in 2018, Beccy has built a diverse career across the NHS, private practice, rugby teams, New Zealand, and even a ski clinic in Japan — gaining experience in everything from complex MSK rehab to acute first-contact trauma care.

Beccy’s passion lies in helping people rebuild confidence in their bodies, whether that’s elite athletes, busy parents or the weekend warriors. She also finds helping those navigating recovery during or after cancer treatment very rewarding. With specialist training in oncology rehabilitation and scar therapy, she provides compassionate, individualised care focused on strength, function, and quality of life.

Combining hands-on physiotherapy with a whole-body, holistic approach Beccy is also trained in APPI Pilates to support long-term recovery and movement. 1:1 and small group Pilates sessions are available in the clinic.

Outside the clinic, Beccy is self confessed dog mad or you’ll find her running, cycling, swimming, or anything up a mountains ⛷️⛰️

Meet Barney- our other co-owner! 👋

With 20 years experience in private practice Barney has trained in advanced techniques such as Myofascial release, Craniosacral Therapy, and Acupuncture. He has developed a holistic style to his work and brings an alternative approach to the way he treats his patients, recognising how the wider aspects of who we are, can have a big effect on the physical issue we experience.

Barney has a highly effective hands-on approach to a wide range of conditions and continues to develop and expand his knowledge in the treatment of chronic and complex issues.

When not at work, Barney enjoys spending time with his family and friends exploring the great outdoors. If he’s not playing in the garden, venturing into the forest, going on cycle rides down by the river or swimming in the sea, he can be found taking part in various Native American Healing Ceremonies 🍃

Meet Mandy - one of our co-owners👋

With over 35 years of physiotherapy experience across both the NHS and private practice, Mandy brings an incredible depth of knowledge and expertise to every patient she treats. From sports injuries and spinal problems to vestibular rehabilitation for dizziness and balance disorders, her holistic approach focuses on getting to the root cause — not just treating symptoms.

Mandy has been here with us at Woodbridge Physiotherapy Practice for over 20 years and combines hands-on treatment with education, strength and conditioning principles, and tailored rehabilitation to help people move better, feel stronger, and live with confidence. Book in with Mandy for vestibular (dizziness and balance problems), Bowen therapy or MSK conditions. 

Outside the clinic, you’ll usually find her lifting weights and keeping active, exploring the outdoors in her beloved camper van Skye, or walking her daughters dog 🚐

Great day out in Woodbridge yesterday, we had lots of fun helping the runners recover!

Always such a well organised and fun event by the Woodbridge Shufflers and our treatment space was kindly donated to us by St Mary’s church hall. Big thanks to Ben from Awesome supplements who kindly gave us some electrolytes to help the runners hydrate after a tough course !
