As National Smile Month comes to an end for another year, we’d like to thank everyone who has supported our activities, joined in with our oral health messages, and helped us spread the importance of healthy smiles throughout our community 💙

From school visits and community events to sharing oral health tips and celebrating smiles, it’s been a fantastic month.

Remember, looking after your smile is important all year round keep brushing twice a day, cleaning between your teeth, and attending regular dental check-ups

Meet Michelle, one of our senior dental nurses here at Rendlesham Dental Practice!

Michelle joined the practice as a trainee dental nurse in September 2014 and qualified in 2016. Since then, she has become an integral part of the team and is known for her skill, dedication, and caring approach with our patients.

Michelle is also in charge of ordering and ensuring the practice is always fully stocked and running smoothly behind the scenes.

Outside of work, Michelle is a keen baker, loves gardening, and enjoys spending quality time with her family.

We’re so lucky to have Michelle as part of our team!

We’ve been a little quiet on social media recently, but behind the scenes we’ve been incredibly busy! 😊

Throughout National Smile Month, our team has been out in the community promoting good oral health, delivering education sessions, and helping spread healthy smile habits to people of all ages.

On top of that, we've been getting our steps in for our Walkathon challenge, raising money for a fantastic cause. There’s still time to support us and make a donation if you’d like to help!

Monday Motivation

As part of National Smile Month, Sarah recently visited St Mary’s Playgroup to deliver a fun and engaging oral health session for the children 🦷

The children learnt all about:
🪥 Brushing their teeth properly
🍎 Tooth-friendly foods and drinks
😁 How to keep their smiles healthy and strong

There were lots of fun activities including colouring, brushing demonstrations and interactive learning all helping to encourage positive oral health habits from a young age 💙

We loved being part of such an important campaign and helping little smiles shine during National Smile Month!
