As you can see, Otis keeps on giving with the school pics šŸ¤ŒšŸ¼. Check the last post for another corker šŸ˜‚.

Here’s a few Tesco clubcard finds this week. Nothing fancy, just realistic picks to pop in your trolley.

I hope you and your little ones are looking forward to the new school year šŸ’›.

Let me know what’s going in your trolley this week?

Why are they like this though šŸ˜‚?

Teacher: ā€œWhat did you do over the summer?ā€

My kids: ā€œNothing.ā€

A little reminder that not everything we share here has to be about perfectly balanced plates. Food, travel, experiences, memories and enjoying life are all part of raising healthy kids too.

Although apparently none of it counts unless they can remember it when their teacher asks. I’m sharing this reel via the school email as proof šŸ˜‚.

I hope you’ve all had a wonderful summer with the kids šŸ’›.

Are we ready for the relentless packed lunches again?!
I can’t actually believe the six week holidays are over already!

Anyway, Here’s 10 lunchbox picks on Nectar price at Sainsbury's this week, to get you back into the swing of things.

Let me know what you’ll be buying?

P.s. last year’s school photo was too good not to share šŸ˜‚.

Everything I ate in a week in Bali 🌓

Food is for nourishment, but it’s also for pure enjoyment.

Probably strange coming from a nutritionist, but not every plate needs to be perfectly balanced. Sometimes you eat something simply because you really bloody fancy it.

I love good food. I love trying new things. And Bali made that VERY easy.

I refuse to spend a holiday worrying about making every meal nutritionally perfect.

And quite frankly, if you’re not having an ice cream every day on holiday, what are you doing?

Even if your holiday does last six weeks 🫠

Sometimes the healthiest choice is simply enjoying the food.

It’s not just about nutrition though, is it?

Also a huge contributor to health:

🌺New experiences - rewires the brain, pulls you out of autopilot and creates new neural pathways.
🄭 New foods - can strengthen good health and help create a more diverse gut microbiome
🌓learning and mixing with other cultures - helps create open mindedness and again, new neural pathways
ā˜€ļøoutdoor living - circadian rhythm functioning better, barefoot grounding, better sleep, I could continue with SO MUCH MORE in this.
šŸ’›Enjoyment - a forgotten piece of health, doing the things you enjoy is key for brain health.

You get the idea.

Everyone wants to know the best thing for gut health.
The reality is usually much less exciting.
It’s eating a variety of plants, getting enough fibre, including live foods and drinks, drinking enough water, those little, often overlooked things.
Doing those things often enough that they become normal.
Ad - One Living Water Kefir has become one of those easy habits for us. It contains live cultures created through fermentation, takes zero effort and the Strawberry and Lemon & Mint flavours never seem to last long in our fridge.
I don’t believe in miracle products, complicated routines and endless lists of supplements, just some simple habits that are realistic for YOU and your family.

If you want to give the One Living Water Kefir a go, comment šŸ’›KEFIRšŸ’›and ill send you a link with 20% off or you can pick one up in Sainsburys now.

Disclaimer: I don’t recommend bottling up your kids. I do, however, highly recommend bottles and a beach this summer.

These have genuinely been our holiday MVPs.

I call them our bulletproof bottles because they’ve been dropped approximately a million times, run over by the pushchair, knocked into the pool (yes, that actually happened) and somehow… they’re still going strong.

AD - They keep drinks cold for hours, don’t leak, and have survived everything my kids have thrown at the, quite literally.

Basically, if you’re heading off on holiday with kids, pack one of these. It’s one less thing to worry about.

The kids might be feral, but at least their water bottles are sorted.

For 10% off all bottles on the website comment ā€œBOTTLEā€ and I’ll send you a discount code šŸ’›

6 supplements we packed for our trip of a lifetime.
In an ideal world we’d have a perfectly balanced diet and no need for any of these. But new country, new foods and a whole lot of winging it, I wanted to make sure we weren’t lacking in anything.

Save this for your next holiday šŸ’›
