Building a business is SUPER blimmin hard! especially when you don't earn from it 🤣
Not to mention the overthinking of what to post on socials, taking a financial hit when you need to cancel an event, knowing this is what people need... it can feel a bit soul destroying at times.

Thankfully I have a thriving psychology practice that allows me to grow this passion project but its thanks to people like you who like, share, comment and support the content I put out here.

grew from a hike I did across the Sahara Desert 4 years ago with and - I was processing a pretty sh*tty stint with breast cancer and I felt vulnerable, anxious and had lost a sense of who I was and what I wanted from life. I was desperate to feel like me again!

This 100km trek, along with 120 other women was a game changer for me and I wanted women all over to experience how bloody great it feels when you step outide your comfort zone, take on a challenge, do something a bit...WILD!

This is the stuff that makes you feel ALIVE! To feel a sense of purpose, to connect with what really matters and to feel part of something bigger than ourselves with a wonderfully energetic community.

I can't wait to see where this goes, I'm just one person so frustratingly it feels slow at times but
your continued support keeps me pushing and moving in the direction I want to take it so I really do mean it when I say thank you! 🙏

Today is the longest day of the year 🌞

The light stretches out a little longer, and it can be a lovely moment to pause and ask yourself a few honest questions.

Not in a “new season, new me, totally transformed by Monday” kind of way.
More in a “what do I actually need to stop dragging around with me?” kind of way.

What do I want to carry into the rest of summer?
What feels heavy?
What have I outgrown?
Where do I need more space?
You don’t need to have the answers straight away.

Sometimes the shift starts with noticing what is quietly asking for your attention.
Take five minutes today if you can.

Sit outside, make a coffee, write a few words down or simply breathe for a moment before the week begins.

Save this reflection for later, or share it with someone who needs a gentle pause today.

Are you looking for space away from the inbox, the mental load and the normal routine.
Space where nobody is asking you to “hop on a quick zoom call” or asking what’s for tea or whether you’ve seen their charger.

1:1 Coaching Days at Soho Farmhouse are designed for women who are ready to step back, reset and think clearly about what they need next, whether that be in business or in life.

Together, we do a deep dive into values, explore current obstacles and what feels heavy right now and figure out actionable steps to help you move forward with more calm and confidence.

It’s where coaching meets retreat, in a peaceful countryside setting.
A whole day dedicated entirely to you with use of the spa facilities, pool and a fabulous brunch in one of the three restaurants.
You also get a follow up call 2 weeks later.

Yin & Tonic is coming soon 🌿

A weekly space for women who feel like they are constantly switched on.
Yin yoga is very different from some of the more active styles of yoga or exercise.
Instead of moving from one posture to the next, Yin is slow, still and supportive.
Postures are held for longer, giving your body time to soften rather than push.
This can help release deeper layers of tension and give your nervous system a clear signal that it is safe to slow down.

Very useful if your body is technically sitting down, but your brain is still sprinting through tomorrow’s to-do list.

It is not about It is not about achieving the perfect pose or looking graceful - its about arrivng on your mat and feeling into what your body is asking for in the moment.

It is about creating space for your body to settle, your mind to quieten and your whole system to come out of constant “go” mode.

Yin & Tonic will be a weekly space to actually switch off, not just try to.

Things we need to stop telling women in their 40s.

Because no, feeling exhausted, flat or like you’ve disappeared under everyone else’s needs is not just “how it is now”.

And no, gratitude does not cancel out struggle.
You can love your family and still need space.
You can be grateful for your life and still think, “I cannot keep running at this speed.”
You can have built a life and still realise something needs to shift.
You are allowed to change.

You are allowed to want more calm, more meaning and more of yourself back.
Sometimes the first step is simply admitting, “I don’t want to keep doing it like this.”

A lovely restorative yet productive afternoon at .malvern yesterday.

I absolutely love running these smaller retreats and this one was particularly enjoyable as I got to collaborate with

We had the lake and surroundings all to ourselves and had some really powerful conversations around values.

Values work is such an integral part of the work I do with my clients. They drive our sense of purpose, they provide clarity on the "Why the F*** am I doing this" days, and give us that spark for what we do.

If you're feeling low, stressed, burnt out or disconnected, its likely you have lost a sense of what your values are, we all experience it as life throws us those curveballs and even more so if you've spent a significant amount of your life putting others needs before your own.

Rediscovering them gives us a compass for when situations feel challenging, they provide the roadmap for how you want to live your life or approach your business and the sort of person you want to be.
