What actually makes a difference as we age? We’re told to take collagen, invest in better skincare, eat differently, try supplements, have Botox, tighten our skin… and that’s before we’ve even ventured down the aesthetics rabbit hole.
So, for my Curious About Aesthetics? event this month, I want to look at ageing from both sides. I’ll be talking about what happens to our faces as we get older, why we see the changes we do and what aesthetic treatments can realistically achieve.
I’ll also be joined by Alice Mackintosh, Clinical Nutritionist and co-founder of award-winning supplement Equi London, to explore what we can do from the inside too. We’ll explore nutrition and supplements - including whether taking them is worthwhile - and try to make sense of an area where good evidence and very good marketing can be difficult to tell apart.
This isn’t an evening about telling you that you need to have something done. It’s about giving you the information so you can decide what, if anything, is right for you. And most importantly, they'll be lots of opportunities to ask us questions.
