I hope you are well. It feels like a good moment to get in touch - partly because I have some news to share and partly because I am aware that life gets busy and its easy to lose touch with people who genuinely care how you're feeling. So if its been a while since I have seen you - hello. I'm still....

Self care….its crazy how we feel that taking time for ourselves is indulgent, expensive, a waste of time.

BUT it really isn’t, taking time to read your favourite book, a walk in nature, an afternoon snooze, a breathing meditation, a swim & sauna, (or of course a massage!), can have enormous benefits.

Your heart rate slows, allowing your cortisol levels to drop, your nervous system switches from fight, flight, fright to rest and digest - which helps to reduce chronic stress, reduce inflammation, reduce our mental load, improves digestions, relaxes our body and released those feel good hormones.

It needn’t take long, a regular routine of including rest in your busy day will overtime create significant changes in how you feel.

Three stages of elderflower season this weekend 🌿
Finding the blossoms, gently making the cordial, and bottling it up to enjoy later.

It really got me thinking about how this mirrors our own wellbeing too.

Life can move quickly, and it’s easy to carry stress, tension, aches, and fatigue without fully noticing until we finally pause. Even small moments of slowing down can help the body and mind reset and rebalance.

Clinical Massage works in a similar way — it’s not just about easing pain and tight muscles, but also about supporting the nervous system, helping the body move out of “stress mode” and into a place of rest, repair, and recovery.

Whether it’s spending time in nature, creating something by hand, or booking in for some Clinical Massage and self-care, those quieter moments can have a real impact on how we feel.

Sometimes change doesn’t come from doing more.
Sometimes it comes from giving ourselves permission to slow down. 🌼
