✨ LARGE, RAISED SKIN LESION — GONE! ✨

This client came to KOL Skin with a prominent raised skin growth positioned just behind the ear. Because of its size and location, it was very noticeable and could easily catch on glasses, clothing or during grooming.

Following assessment and suitability for cosmetic treatment, the lesion was carefully removed.

The final photo shows the area after healing — flatter, smoother and with a huge improvement in appearance. 🙌

Results like this are exactly why I love what I do. Something relatively small can make such a difference to how comfortable and confident someone feels in their skin.

Brown marks and patches are incredibly common, but what looks like simple pigmentation can have many different causes.

From sun damage, melasma and post-inflammatory pigmentation to seborrhoeic keratoses and other skin changes, appearance alone doesn’t always tell the whole story.

🔎 The important bit:
If a brown mark is new, changing, growing, bleeding, persistently itching or changing in colour, shape or border, have it medically assessed before considering cosmetic treatment.

At KOL Skin, I treat a range of suitable benign superficial skin concerns. If a lesion looks suspicious, is changing, or falls outside my treatment scope, I will always recommend appropriate medical assessment first.

This facial lesion was in a prominent area close to the hairline and was carefully treated with precision, while minimising disruption to the surrounding skin.

📸 This photo was taken immediately after treatment, so the area still needs time to heal. Over the coming weeks, the skin will naturally repair and remodel, and natural skin tone will gradually return as healing progresses. ❤️‍🩹

A great example of treating multiple unwanted skin lesions across the neck and décolletage in one session.

The neck and chest are common areas for skin tags, seborrhoeic keratoses and other benign skin lesions to develop. When there are lots of them, they can make the skin appear uneven and can catch on clothing, necklaces or bra straps.

At KOL Skin, multiple suitable lesions can often be treated during the same appointment, making a real difference to the overall appearance and feel of the skin.

❤️ What happens next?�The treated areas will initially look darker and form tiny crusts as part of the normal healing process. These gradually shed naturally, revealing fresh skin underneath.

Skin continues to repair, settle and remodel over the following 8–12 weeks, so the final result isn’t judged immediately after treatment.

❤️‍🩹 NOSE MOLE REMOVAL — HEALING UPDATE ❤️‍🩹

This is what the early healing stage can look like following a nose mole removal.

The area has formed a protective crust while the skin underneath begins its natural repair process. No picking or scratching, the crust needs to dry and shed naturally. 🤍

Once the crust has fallen away, the new skin may look pink or red initially, and this is where patience becomes important.

✨ Healing doesn’t stop when the crust comes off.

The skin continues to repair and remodel for approximately 8–12 weeks, during which redness gradually fades, skin tone begins to even out and the treated area continues to smooth and settle.

I’ll keep sharing this healing journey so you can see the progression from treatment through to the final result. ❤️‍🩹
