If you have recently requested a prescription, please allow at least 3 working days for this to be processed before contacting the practice.

Our dispensaries are particularly busy following the bank holiday and are working through requests as quickly as possible. We will contact you when your prescription is ready to collect, as usual.

If you are running out of medication before this time, please do contact us so we can make sure you have enough. Otherwise, we kindly ask that you allow us a little extra time while we work through the increased demand.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

The whole team at Culverhay Surgery are working hard to restore and provide a service in Berkeley for our patients as priority. This is a significant and complex restoration project, and we are making every effort to ensure that local Berkeley services are re-established as quickly and effectively as possible.
We appreciate that many of our patients are keen to hear about progress, and we hope to be able to share a positive update with you shortly.
In the meantime, we would like to sincerely thank all of our patients for their continued patience, understanding, and support throughout this process.

Berkeley Surgery Update:
Following the recent flooding at our Berkeley Surgery caused by a burst pipe, we wanted to provide an update for our patients.
Our team is continuing to work closely with our insurers and contractors to assess the full extent of the damage and plan the necessary restoration works.
We know many of our Berkeley patients are keen to return to their usual surgery, and we completely understand how important having a local service is. We share that goal and are doing everything we can to progress the process as quickly as possible.
Unfortunately, reopening the building is not a simple matter. Before any repair work can begin, the building must first be thoroughly dried and assessed to ensure it is ready for restoration. Only then can the necessary repairs be undertaken, after which the building will need to be checked to ensure it is safe and suitable for patients and staff to return. While we are working hard with all those involved, these stages take time.
In the meantime, services continue to operate from our Wotton and Frampton-on-Severn sites, with our Berkeley staff temporarily relocated so that we can continue providing care with as little disruption as possible. We extend our thanks to our PCN practices and particularly May Lane GP Surgery in Dursley for continuing to host some clinics for us.
We appreciate that this situation is frustrating and inconvenient, and we would like to thank all of our patients and the local community for your patience, understanding and support while we work through this process.

We will continue to keep you updated as soon as we have any further news.
Thank you for bearing with us.
