Nancy has been working closely with Dianne, our Senior Physiotherapist, to improve her mobility and the progress she’s achieved has been remarkable. 🩵

She described the physio sessions as “fantastic”, and with the support provided here at Nightingale House, she was able to walk to the Wellbeing Centre using her walker for the very first time.

Nancy has also been attending our wellbeing sessions, sharing that “nothing is too much trouble for anyone” and that she “never wants the sessions to end.” She also recently received some Occupational Therapy support where our team were able to provide her with some adapted cutlery to help increase her independence with functional activities.

Stories like Nancy’s remind us just how important compassionate, tailored support can be.

At Nightingale House Hospice, our services such as physiotherapy, wellbeing and occupational therapy play a vital role in enabling individuals to regain confidence and quality of life.🫶

Mr and Mrs Fellows joined the Nightingale House lottery when it first began, 30 years ago and they’ve been supporting us ever since! 🩵

When asked why, they shared:
“Joining the Nightingale House Lottery was one of the first things we did when we moved to Wrexham, we both thought it was a good idea for the good work the hospice does.”

“We are one of many players which all together makes a difference.”

And that’s what makes our lottery so special.

It’s not just about the chance to win, it’s about giving back to a place that cares for our community when it matters most.

For just £1 a week, you can be part of that community support standing alongside people like Mr and Mrs Fellows making a real difference.
