Giving back to our community is something that’s really important to us, and blood donation is one of the simplest ways we can make a real difference.

🏥 Donated blood can help people following accidents, surgery, childbirth, cancer treatment and more.

Today is World Arthritis Day, helping to raise awareness of arthritis and the impact it can have on everyday life.

At Altriss, we’re passionate about understanding, awareness and person-centred support. Good knowledge helps those working in care recognise how conditions such as arthritis can affect mobility, independence, comfort and wellbeing, and how we can provide support with dignity and compassion.

Staff Spotlight: Sheryl!

This week, our Staff Spotlight is dedicated to the incredible Sheryl Bishop, Director of Altriss and quite simply, the brains behind everything we do! 🌟

Sheryl is a fully qualified trainer, software developer and the driving force behind the Altriss Learning Hub, which she built from the ground up, turning an idea into a platform that is now helping organisations manage training and development in a completely different way.

But Sheryl is so much more than her job titles. She’s the glue that holds our team together, always supporting, encouraging and pushing us to be the best we can be. Her work ethic and determination are second to none, honestly, we think her determination should be studied! 😂

Sheryl works incredibly hard behind the scenes to keep everything moving, while always making time for the rest of the team. We genuinely couldn’t ask for a more supportive, inspiring and hardworking boss.

So, from all of us at Altriss, THANK YOU, Sheryl, for everything you do, for believing in us and for bringing the Altriss vision to life. 💙

Keeping Wrexham’s community safer, together!

Last week, our trainers, Sheryl and Odette had a great time delivering our Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course to members of the Wrexham BID.

It’s brilliant to see local businesses building the skills and confidence to support their teams, customers and wider community. 👏

And, of course, no training day is complete without refreshments! ☕🍪 Let’s just say… first aid skills were refreshed, and so were the energy levels! 😂
