It sounds simple. But choosing the right ramp solution can involve much more than measuring the height of a step.

Things such as gradient, available space, access routes, turning areas, surfaces and how the ramp will actually be used all need to be considered.

That's why assessment is so important.

Supporting independence at home 💙

We recently installed a Ropox A/S Corporate Toilet Lifter in the home of a young man living with muscular dystrophy.

For someone with reduced muscle strength, everyday tasks can require much more effort than we often realise. Being able to use the toilet safely and with greater independence can make a real difference to someone's day-to-day life.

The Ropox Toilet Lifter provides electrically powered height adjustment, helping to support a controlled sit-to-stand movement while reducing the physical effort required.

He had previously used this type of toilet lifter at a Neuromuscular Centre, so having the same familiar solution installed at home means he can now benefit from it in his everyday environment too.

A big thank you to Mike and Ryan for their work on this installation. 👏

It’s not simply about the equipment itself. It’s about what that equipment can make possible.

In this case, it means greater independence and confidence with an everyday task, in the comfort of his own home.

A little look at one of our recent ramp installations. 👇

This ramp was installed at warden-monitored accommodation, helping to create a safer, more practical route into and out of the building for residents and visitors who may find steps difficult to manage.

In accommodation like this, accessible entry isn’t just about getting from A to B. It can make a real difference to day-to-day independence, confidence and being able to come and go more easily.

Our team worked with the existing entrance and surrounding space to install a ramp solution that provides a practical alternative to the steps.
