Sometimes the most important part of preparing skin for a wedding isn’t what you do. It’s what you choose not to do.
When Lydia first came to see me, we didn’t have the luxury of a long runway before her wedding day. Her skin was presenting with redness, sensitivity, excess oil, enlarged pores and uneven texture.
With more time, I may have approached things differently. But one of the biggest lessons I’ve learnt over the years is that skin management is never about doing the most. It’s about understanding what the skin needs, while respecting the time you have available.
For Lydia, that meant creating balance.
Calming inflammation rather than chasing perfection. Reducing redness, refining texture and helping her skin become more predictable, so her skin felt calm, balanced and dependable on one of the most important days of her life.
What stayed with me most wasn’t the visible change in her skin. It was the confidence that grew alongside it.
Appointment by appointment, review by review, she became more comfortable in her own skin. By the time her wedding day arrived, that confidence was just as beautiful as the skin we’d worked so hard to achieve.
For me, that’s always the real transformation.
Congratulations, Lydia.
You looked absolutely beautiful.
Skin First. Always.
