Meet Andy, our Registered Manager here at Lago Homecare 💙

Andy joined us in April, with 17 years of experience in care, including 10 years in management roles, and a real passion for making a positive difference every single day, both for the people we support and for the team around him 💫

What’s been so refreshing about Andy is the rare combination he brings: genuinely excellent team management paired with sharp business instincts. He just gets on with it, and that’s exactly what Lago needs to help us grow 🌟

He's a natural leader who genuinely cares about doing things properly, and we feel very lucky to have him steering the team 🙌

Outside of work, rugby has always been a huge part of Andy's life 🏉 He played for Hartlepool RFC for an incredible 24 years, and although he's now retired from playing, these days you'll find him coaching both the Hartlepool RFC First Team and the U12 Girls Team, where his daughter plays 💪

When he's not pitchside, Andy loves spending quality time with family and friends, and he's right at home in the kitchen cooking up something good 👨‍🍳

With Andy leading the team, the people we support are in safe, experienced and genuinely caring hands 💙

Meet Josie 💙

Say hello to Josie, our brilliant Care Co-ordinator here at Lago Homecare, and her four-legged bestie/ official office dog, Wilf 🐾

Josie previously worked within fashion and beauty, but it was the care sector that gave her a real sense of purpose, and that's exactly what led her to Lago 🌟

She's doing an amazing job, and we feel very lucky to have her on the team 💙

When she's not in the office, you'll usually find Josie out in the hills. She's a keen hiker, slowly working her way through all the Wainwrights, a proper long-term goal in the beautiful Lake District ⛰️

And of course, Wilf is never far behind! Her gorgeous chihuahua puppy keeps her busy most days, and a lot of her free time is spent seeking out the best Wilf-friendly spots (puppuccino’s very much included ☕)

Outside of all that, Josie loves quality time with close family and friends, and the occasional little trip away 💕

Josie is typically your first point of contact at Lago, and the perfect person to talk to about exactly how we can help. So if you're considering care for yourself or a loved one, she'd love to hear from you 💙
