It brings us great joy to bring Cass of Lua Nova (which, in Portuguese, means New Moon!)
Brazilian born and shaped in the UK - Cass is a self-taught mixed media artist whose work sits somewhere between ceramics, sculpture and painting. At the Festival of Love, Cass is offering something beautiful - an intimate, sensory candle dressing workshop, honouring the rich golden energy of Mabon (the autumn equinox).
If candle dressing is new to you, it is the practice of anointing a candle with oils and herbs while setting your intention into it, so that when you burn it at home, that intention is carried with the flame.
Whether you are completely new to Candle magick or seeking a mindful way to mark the seasonal shift, you will leave The Festival of Love at New Moon Mill with a beautifully dressed, custom crafted candle alongside the knowledge to continue your own ritual practice at home.
She will also be offering face and body painting, which transcends decoration, and becomes a bridge between your inner landscape and the visible world. Using skin safe pigments and sacred geometry, we will translate spiritual intention into living art.
All materials including the candles, herbs from my magical garden and essential oils are provided ... bring only an open heart.
